I was looking for someone to braid my hair that was closer to my home in the suburbs than in Chicago. The last place I went to get my hair braided was a bad experience. I paid a lot of money for braids just to have my hair hanging out of the braid. I found African Braids by Cryst on google and saw that she had a 5.0 rating and the reviews were very good. I took a chance & booked an appointment with Crystal. She was very polite when I spoke to her on the phone and she asked me what style I was looking for & to text her a picture. I was able to go on Christina’s Eve to get my hair braided by Crystal for the first time and I am so happy I chose her. She was very warm and inviting as well as her mother and they treated me with the utmost care. I am very pleased with how my hair turned out and I owe it all to Crystal. My braids are neat, there is none of my hair oozing out of the braid and they are very beautiful. I can not stop looking in the mirror, thank you Crystal for my beautiful braids. After I left the her shop I ran into a lady as I was picking up a sandwich, and she said “your hair is very beautiful where did you get it done at. I was very proud to share & refer her to Crystal because of the great customer service I experienced & because she does magic with her fingers. I will tell everyone I know that are looking for braids to go to Crystal for a great experience and a beautiful feeling.

I had to leave a review for Crystal she did an excellent job on my knotless braids. She asked me constantly as she braided if she was braiding too tight.
