Critical: QualityLook. The stylists there were very nice and i almost hate to leave a negative review, but, it is what it is. I called and asked specifically if they do retwist and style and i was told yes and to come right in. I got there, and granted she got to me right away, even though she stopped mid way doing someone else’s to do mine, but only spent about 30 mins retwisting my hair. Now i have about 200 locs so i was a little confused as to why it took such a short amount of time. Turns out she combined all my locs, which if asked, i certainly would not have agreed to that, no parting and i like my posts to be clean after a fresh retwist, and after drying she simply told me i was done. No styling. Ended up having to pay someone else to undo what she did and redo my hair.Service: HairstylingLook. I called and asked specifically if they do retwist and style and i was told yes and to come right in. Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityIF I COULD RATE THIS SHOP A NEGATIVE ONE I WOULD. Absolutely terrible experience. I called this establishment asking for cornrows. They said I could come right away. I sat in the wait section for 2 HOURS. The shop had little to no customers mind you. Three employees, two not doing JACK and no acknowledgment what so ever. Until I started getting frustrated of course. During my long wait there were other clients showing up and the stylist began working on them before me! When we finally got to me she tells me to change my style to box braids because she can’t grip my shorter hair (which was never a problem for other stylists I’ve gone to). Now here’s the icing on the cake: she has the nerve to tell me that she doesn’t have any hair left and I need to DRIVE HER TO THE BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE TO GET SOME. Now she must be out her mind to think Imma be playin’ Uber driver for her without no discount for a $200 hairstyle that I didn’t even want! She spends minutes arguing with her coworkers in her native tongue, and then she agrees to pay me 5 dollars for gas to go to the closest beauty supply store. We get to that store, and I’m siting my car for 15-20 minutes waiting on this woman. To buy a few packs of hair?? There’s absolutely no reason for such a long wait. That was my breaking point.
