Dee/Madinah made my day today! I called desperately wanting to get a hair cut, and I was fortunate to get a spot. The location is super easy to get to, very clean, and best of all it’s by appointment so one customer at a time, this guarantees privacy and you feel like a VIP. She did excellent job cutting my very curly hair, hands down one of the best hair salons out there in Fairfax. She is a true professional, I will be coming back.

I love coming to African American Hair Salon for many reasons. One reason is because Madina is always nice and professional at doing hair. She also is also very comical and is very easy to talk too. The Styliest told me I can come back for my hair to get fixed sat in the salon for over 1.5 hours for nothing my hair still looks like nothing was done to it. I was a walk in on a saturday afternoon (late) and they agreed to take me without an appointment. (Good sign). I did not have a particular style that I wanted and let the stylist do what was best for the shape of my head and I LOVED it. I will certainly go back. My hair is natural but she caters for all hair chemical treated, weaves and natural hair. Highly recommend!

Stay far away!!! My wife scheduled an appointment with these unprofessional people. They took a $25 payment as a deposit to hold the appointment. However, when she arrived to get her hair done (on time) the building was closed. She called and someone answered ‘Hello’ sounding like she just woke up. My wife told her she was there for her 10am appointment. The representative claims they had to run out to get a package but would be back and told my wife to come back in 30 minutes or later that day. My wife told the rep she couldn’t do that, as she had scheduled her day around this, then asked who she was supposed to wait for…then the rep (who claimed she would be the person doing my wife’s hair because the original sylist was out) hung up! Why is this GHETTO business even operating in Fairfax? My wife is VP of Internal Audit for a Fortune 500 company and would have given them great business. Smh.
