Lance Henry, MD, is Northwest Arkansas’ leading expert in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. He is a double Board-certified cosmetic and general dermatologist and Fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon, one of only nine in the state of Arkansas. Dr. Henry is the most experienced skin cancer surgeon in Northwest Arkansas, having performed over 17,000 Mohs procedures to date.

Communication leading up to the procedure was excellent. Reception was quick and the waiting area is comfortable. The nurses were efficient, explained things clearly and were kind from start to finish. Dr. Henry was busy but did not rush through the plan for my procedure. Throughout the nurses and doctor were friendly and explained each step. I was impressed with their courtesy to me and especially to each other. I had an allergic reaction that went out of control. My face was very swollen and I was covered in hives. At the time we didn’t have any idea what caused it. I went to urgent care and was given a shot the first time to calm the reaction, and that did take away some of the swelling but not all. Then the reaction started to ramp back up again and the hives and swelling started to return. On my second trip to urgent care, I was able to get a referral to Advanced Dermatology and an appointment the same day, which I was very grateful for as I was getting pretty desperate. The doctor was very professional, looked me over, asked questions concerning what happened and prescribed what she thought was needed. The medicine seems to be working great. My face and neck look almost normal after a day and my hives are leaving. Thank you!
