Not impressed with Dr. Amsbaugh. Went for an annual skin check and didn’t even get assessed. And at the end of the appt when I realized he wasn’t going to assess me I had to point out a couple moles. I then asked him if problem spots are obvious to which he said no so I’m still confused about why I had to point out anything and wasn’t actually assessed. Can’t wait to see what he bills my insurance for my nonexistent skin check. Don’t recommend and will be seeing someone else next time.

This is the 3rd time I’ve been here and I’ve never been happy with my visits. I went in to get help with adult break outs and since I was there I asked to have some moles removed that bothered me (no cancer concerns at all). The doctor said most insurances cover 3 moles so she would remove 3 for me. For my concerns with adult break outs, she gave me a prescription for retina. Retina has never worked for me in the past but the doctor didn’t ask me about my history with treatments. I asked if anything I eat might be causing breakouts, however she said it was probably just overactive sweat glands. I don’t agree with this at all and have heard new studies linking gut health with skin health, etc. The retina doesn’t seem to be having much of an effect and I received no follow up from the doctor to see if it was working. She only mentioned to schedule a follow up in 3 months if necessary. Which means just spend more money when I could have predicted it wouldn’t do anything. I received my bill for the visit, over $600! I called the billing department and the woman told me that the mole removal was covered by my insurance. Spending $600 to me is not what I would call a covered treatment. However, it did lower the price from $900 to $600. I would definitely not recommend going here. The doctor I went to was very nice, however it’s never been the same doctor and I would not have asked for the moles to be removed if I had known I would be paying that much. Also, I also didn’t receive any help with my main concern for the visit, adult acne.

I have been a patient for close to 20 years. I see them every six months and their service and care have been consistently great every time I go in. Most efficient doctor’s office ever! My appointment NEVER takes longer than 30 minutes and that includes the exam. Dr’s Papadeaus and Amsbaugh are the best.

This clinic was very unhelpful. When trying to schedule an appointment, the receptionist made it very clear they do not need any new business. When asking simple questions about my visit, they were unable to give me any answers. It is unfortunate when the person answering the phone is so unfriendly and unhelpful that business is steered away before being seen.
