My initial call to schedule my appointment wasn’t the greatest. Whoever I spoke with seemed irritated with my call, but I proceeded to schedule because I’ve heard great things about the provider. The day of my appointment I walked in and I wasn’t greeted at all. The woman in the middle had someone in front of her, so I went to the first receptionist (on my right). She asked if I had an appointment I replied yes, at 8:30 with Dr. Toome. She then said “sign the sticker there’s one left on the bottom” I signed the sticker and asked if she needed my new patient paperwork she stated ” no, sit down they will call you”. She was slightly rude, very cold and not pleasant at all. Shortly after I sat down. I got called to the front where I was checked in by Sabrina. She was very pleasant, asked for my insurance card and ID, she scanned my things and gave them back to me, she collected my copay and asked if I received my paperwork in the mail, I told her no but I printed the paperwork from the website. I handed her my paperwork and she then asked me to sign one sheet that wasn’t on the website. She was very pleasant and didn’t seem irritated with me. I sat down and waited to be called back. I was brought back to the room by Lisa, who was also very pleasant. I told her the reason of my visit and expressed that I have really bad anxiety, she assured me that I would be fine and Dr. Toome would take good care of me. Dr. Toome was very professional and listened to all of my concerns. She did a few biopsies, explained to me how she was going to treat my condition after being told for basically my whole life there was nothing out there other than ammonium lactate and amlactin, which did absolutely nothing for my skin. She also answered my question about a concern I had that my previous dermatologist told me was a result of my skin condition which Dr. Toome looked at right away and told me it was not from my skin condition that it was in fact something else and how she was going to treat it. My check out process wasn’t too pleasant. I went to the last receptionist by the check out, I asked if I needed to come around she said no so i stayed where I was. While scheduling my next appointment, I asked if she had another 8:30 on that date she said no she has 8:45, I asked what’s the latest and with a sigh she said 3:15, so I told her I’ll take the 3:15 appointment and went on my way. As I got to the door, I remembered I needed a note for work, so I went back in and asked for a note, that seemed like a bother as well. She took a script pad out of the door, slammed the pad down wrote my name and DOB and said here. In return I said thank you have a good one with no response. Other than the two cold receptionist, my visit was well. I would definitely recommend my family and friends to see Dr. Toome. I myself am a receptionist and I must say as being the first face people see when they walk in, its your job to greet them and make them feel welcome, not seem like a bother, especially on their first visit when they don’t know how the office operates. Its not about what you say but how you say it.

Worst patient experience I’ve had yet. Dr. Toome barely looked me up and down for a “full body scan”. Never touched me once and despite giving me paperwork saying she explained XYZ to me, never explained anything to me. She spent literally less than 5 minutes in the room with me. Do yourself a favor, find a different dermatologist!

Absolute wonderful experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Dr Li listened to my concerns and being a redhead I have a lot of freckles & sun damage. He was very thorough but not biopsy happy like my previous dermatologist.

Disappointed in the 6 minutes, and I mean LITERALLY 6 minutes that the Doctor spent with me. ( my co-pay was 60 so I wasted 60 dollars on 6 minutes of “care”) additionally, I had a skin tag on my hand, the Dr looked at and proceeded to burn or freeze it off, without warning or asking permission, never even stated what he was doing before doing it, he just did it and I felt pain. He did it so quickly before I even had an opportunity to ask what he was doing. Now the tiny skin tag is 3 times the size and looks awful. Before it was unnoticeable and now it isn’t. Even my PCP saw me yesterday and was asking what happened to my hand. He told me to keep an eye on it. So, thanks for fixing something that wasn’t broken

I had a good experience. The staff was wonderful with the fact I was very late. Due to getting lost they were able to fit me in. Doctor was very nice. Nice experience

Let me first start by saying I am a nurse and I am very patient when it comes to sitting in a waiting room waiting for my time. I had an appointment today at 10 AM and arrive 15 minutes early. Not only did I see other people signed in head appointments at 10:15 and 1030 I even asked them while we were waiting in the waiting room if that was the correct time of the appointment. They were taken in ahead of me as I sat in the waiting room until 1030 when I finally asked the front desk what was going on and how much longer it would be. I was informed that there would be at least another 15 minute wait which would make my 10 o’clock appointment now 1045. This is so disgraceful and disrespectful to the patients that come in on time for their appointments waste their gas there tolls and their time. Shame on you for treating your patience this way.

Yesterday I had a visit with Dr. Toome she is an excellent doctor! She is very thorough addressed all my concerns and although I went for a different issue she spotted and addressed an issue that I did not think was a problem at all. I will definitely take her advice and see her for a yearly body scan. Thanks Dr Toome.

Have received excellent care here. Dr. Danowski has helped me with my skin issues and always takes her time to explain everything to me. Wait was not long at all either. I’m usually able to get an evening appointment after work which is wonderful.

We had the best experience with Dr. Choi. After almost 2 years of “waiting it out” with my son’s molluscum at the recommendation of his pediatrician, I decided to try a dermatologist. Dr. Choi was so kind, patient, and thorough with my son. The treatment was painless and effective (cleared up in a few weeks!) I highly recommend her, especially for children.
