I was literally praying to God in heaven that she could manage my super curly hair. About an hour or so later, I left that salon & knew she was the one! Since that day she had been my my hairdresser for 8+ years. And I don’t plan on going anywhere else!Life is short. You might as well live it with really great hair! And Lisa will give you just that! :)I always receive so many compliments when I leave the salon. I booked a Manicure (in-person) with the owner. A couple weeks later I went back for my appointment and had my manicure done by the owner’s employee. Towards the end of my appointment, she put a clear coat on my nails which at first, I simply thought was a base coat. Then she asked me to put my hand under the nail lamp. I immediately asked her why I had to do that just to dry a base coat. She told me that I needed to because this is a step needed for getting Gel Polish. I told her that I didn’t want gels, that I have never gotten gels and had just come in for a regular manicure. She apologized several times and removed the coating she had applied AND I LEFT WITHOUT GETTING MY NAILS POLISHED BECAUSE THEY DON’T CARRY REGULAR POLISH. After I left I realized that the nail technician had charged me for $35 for a Spa/Gel Manicure. I immediately emailed the owner and told her that I should have only been charged $20 for their regular manicure as I did not get a gel manicure. She told me she’d get back to me after the long weekend was over. Several weeks went back and she never got back to me. So I emailed her again, asking if she had spoken to her employee in order to verify that I did not get the Gel Manicure. She never got back to me again. So I went in to get a massage and asked her why she didn’t get back to me. I never got a clear answer as to why other than she is horrible with technology. However I spoke to her before my massage and attempted again after my massage and she would not refund any money back to me. Though there is just a small difference in a manicure which is $20 and the Gel/Spa Manicure which is $35, she should have given me my money back because I did not get the gel treatment done. She said that I had to pay the $35 – “because the nail technician had painted the base coat and then had to spend time taking it off.” First of all, I never even got a coat of colored nail polish. Secondly, she the owner is the one that booked the service incorrectly. And thirdly, what a horrible impression, as a new owner to leave with a new customer. Not too smart. By the way, I was spending money there and going there for other services. Lastly, I left the technician a 35 percent tip. I cannot believe that they will not give me my money back and they’re making me pay for a service that I never got. Bad business.
