I had a great first experience at Adorn Beauty and Body Studio. I was greeted at the door by Latoya for my very first electrolysis appointment. Before starting she throughly went through the procedure with me and and answered all my questions. I also like the fact she “tested” a small area first to see if the procedure was something I wanted to go forth with. I felt very welcomed and her knowledge made me feel comfortable. I definitely will recommend her to others. Looking forward to my next appointment.

Latoya has been providing electrolysis services to me for over a year. She’s kind, professional, and good at what she does. Her practice has been around for quite awhile and covers most if not all of your needs. Definitely would recommend!

Do not go here. If you happen to have an unexpected lady issue crop up the day of your appointment like I did the owner will give you a hard time if you go to cancel. I have PCOS, so I’m lucky to get a regular period and when I got I one on the morning of my last appointment with her, I decided to cancel. I know you can use tampons, but I can’t due to health reasons. Plus, it’s totally okay if an estheticican to reschedule you also, they can and sometimes do refuse clients who are on their period because their skin is really thin and thus more prone to be more painful. I literally had to explain why I needed to cancel, which was humiliating and unnecessary. If I have a legitimate reason to cancel the polite thing to do its just accept it. She really is only out for the $$$$ and has 0 care and concern for her clients. I WILL NEVER go back there. I don’t recommend anyone go either!

I had an amazing experience at Adorn. The place is beautiful and clean. The staff was professional and made sure to suggest products based on my needs and interest and answered all my questions. I walked in and received complimentary fitting for their Neoprene waist trainer. Melissa made me feel very comfortable while taking my measurements and insured I got the best size and fit for me. I recommend checking this place out! I will definitely be back.

I’ve been going to Latoya for a year now and she makes all of my appointments an enjoyable one. She’s very personable and will keep you laughing which is needed as electrolysis isn’t the most pleasant! I got lipo cavitation as well as a Brazilian wax done by Candace. All of my experiences at Adorn have been a great and comfortable one and will most definitely go back for future work done.☺ Thank you Adorn!!

Where do I begin…love This place! The staff is so professional and attentive. From the minute I walked through the door I was greeted by the receptionist with a smile. I received lash extensions..and let me just say…love love love. I have been several times for body contouring, slimming treatments and now lash extensions. I’m hooked. Latoya and her staff is awesome.

I do not recommend this place and it seems like the owner, Latoya, is just out to try and get more money out of you. I decided to give this place a chance after speaking with Latoya and to see how they are despite the fact that I felt Candace came off rude on the phone the first time I called. When I first walked in, I wasn’t greeted and definitely didn’t feel welcomed. During my treatment Latoya passively complained about having to come in on Saturday, when she could’ve just told me that she preferred a different day if she didn’t work on Saturdays and I would’ve scheduled it for a different day. Instead, she had an attitude about it and rudely stated that she only works on Wed and Thur. She also asked me if I was the one that spoke to her receptionist (Candace) on the phone last time and I told her yes I am. She asked that question to try and be messy because there was no reason for her to even bring that up because I had already discussed my concerns about Candace’s phone etiquette almost 2 weeks ago with Latoya, so she knew very well that I was the one that had called because that’s why she was even doing my treatment instead of Candace. I guess she thought I was supposed to feel guilty or discuss the situation again while Candace was there, which was very inappropriate and unprofessional. Regardless if I made a complaint on Candace I still came to your business and gave you money. When my treatment was done I don’t like how Latoya just rang me up for $25 facial pads without first asking me if I wanted to purchase them nor did she tell me she was charging me for them. I thought she was just giving me a free sample of cleanser to try, which she had mentioned in the treatment room that she would give. She also mentioned that they had something for skin brightening but I never once told her that I wanted to buy anything else other than the electrolysis treatment from her that day and she should’ve asked first if I wanted to purchase it. Now I’m finding out that the product cannot be returned for a full refund and that they only give store credit even if though I haven’t even opened up or used the product. She was obviously trying to make her money back since I had used a Groupon that cut the cost of the treatment in half by more than fifty percent. I will not be returning to this place to give them any more of my money at all and I would not recommend this place at all. Horrible attitudes and trying to scam people out of more money. Latoya is a horrible business owner. You don’t do stuff like that especially to first time customers. This is why it’s hard to support black owned businesses for this very reason. Latoya’s bad character and attitude will be the downfall of this place.
