She was very nice and patient with me because I had no clue as to what I wanted to get done but she worked with me and I left satisfied..Africa was a real sweetheart as well..I love the atmosphere in the shop because they talk to you. It’s not boring and dry like most shops..they actually interact with their customers. Will definitely be going back

Listen. I’m very particular about my locs. I lived in Richmond from August 2015 until about 2 weeks ago. I found Whitney on styleseat probably September or October of 15 and haven’t even LOOKED anywhere else. I’m from Mississippi…20 minutes south of Memphis. We take locs seriously down there. Whitney is the absolute best loctician I’ve ever had. Period. And now…she’s teaching the others in her very own shop to do what she does. I don’t know if yall understand how big that is…but if she was a CEO on Wall Street, she’d win awards for what she’s doing.

As a black Male I dont experience many salons so I can only speak for this one I just got my locs started off at this shop and miss whitney definitely knows what shes doing she doesn’t pack a bunch of gel in your head she has a open personality and keeps you laughing and makes you comfortable as soon as you open the door her employees are the same as far as I know so that’s my 5 star rating for a 5 star shop
