I had an appointment at 6pm and arrived 10 minutes early. She wasn’t ready for me until 6:20. Receptionist was rude and flighty. I asked nicely several times how much longer and was told just a few more minutes. Girl took forever doing my nails. I finally told her they were good enough and to just paint them so I could go. I didn’t get out of there until almost 8pm and I only needed fills and gel polish. Receptionist asked me if I wanted to go ahead and pay and I said sure. She said $45 which was quite a bit more than I had paid a few months back for a fill but gave her my credit card. She came back and gave it to me and my receipt said $47. When I asked why she said because I paid with a credit card. I told her I would have paid cash and she just laughed. I know it’s only $2 but it’s the principle. And almost 2 hours to get my nails done?? No thanks. Will go elsewhere. And my nails aren’t even that great.

Was in Edgewater today and called for an appointment. Got right in for a manicure/pedicure. Asked that my nails be round not square. Well my nails are square and my cuticles was cut on the ring finger on my right hand. I chose this salon because it had a 4.7 rating per the reviews. I will not be returning to Adorn Nail Salon. Had to wait to pay because young man was on telephone. Should have waited another week for my regular salon to re-open.
