My mom and used to get our hair done by Stephanie, the owner, at the salon she worked at before opening Ado. She is awesome at coloring and cutting hair, knowing hair and what can be done to it safely. They also offer tanning and other light therapy treatments. It’s been awhile since I’ve been able to go back there to get my hair done but I definitely will again. I highly recommend Ado Salon!

Critical: ProfessionalismEDITED AFTER REPLY: As I said: I was a new client *recommended* to this salon by salon’s longtime client. I arrived *exactly* on time, 1:30 in the afternoon, to my *confirmed* appointment, and find the building locked, lights out, everyone gone, no note, no call, and I feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone (or there was some terrible emergency). No one ever contacted me, nor made it up to me either. Acted like I imagined this scenario. Certainly not professional behavior for clients, nor makes them feel welcome, regardless of other clients’ habits or abilities for punctuality. You may not “like” the client who recommended me to you (which is ridiculous as she pays you well and is one of the kindest people you could ever hope to know!) But there is never an excuse for rudeness! I’d be happy to take this review down if these issues are addressed and attitudes changed! First i had a gift certificate and my haircut with Alex was great, the next month i decided to treat myself to partial highlights and cut. I told him i wanted partial only and it took 2-3 hours when i got to the register the woman charged me $270!!!! I have never EVER had a bill that high for hair. It literally was my car payment & set me behind a few months on bills. The worst part was i wasnt even happy with the color. Very yellow and so many highlights it looked like full color. Havent gotten my hair done anywhere since.
