Adja has always been an amazing experience. These ladies are some hardcore hair BRAIDERS. Quick and dedicated. Ignore any reviews coming from the fake bougie…. lol. Someone said they didn’t know if they should come washed and detangled or not??? To a hair braiding appointment?? So yeah, I’ve been going to this salon for 10 YEARS. You can take it from me, top tier hair braiding. That’s what you come for, that’s what you get! Thank you, Adja!!!

Terrible experience. The owner did not care to make it right. The crochet braids were falling out everywhere in less then 1 week! I had to go somewhere else to get my hair redone, I asked the owner for just a partial refund and I never heard back from her. Don’t waste your time or money. There are too many options for hair braiding and weaves. I was skeptical and should have never patronized this place. BEWARE.

UPDATE: I took the braids out a couple of weeks ago and clumps of hair washed down the drain. I have bald spots around my edges! I am so upset. NEVER GET YOU HAIR DONE HERE!!!

They only have 2 women doing hair. If you make an appointment Adj will not honour it. She is not professional at all.She is to personal with her likes and dislike of a person.Grow up.

They do hair really fast and for a reasonable price but at the same time my hair have been falling out all around my edges. When I tried to make an appointment for them to remove my braids the lady wanted to charge me $50 dollars then started telling and carrying on the phone. They put knots in your hair so you can’t go to anyone else to remove it instead of them. They will be seeing me in court.

I went to get my hair braided a few days ago. I called a couple of days before to ask the price and I also text her a photo of the style. I was told by Adja that it would be 160 if I brought my hair and 180 if she supplied the hair so I said ok. I decided to just pay the extra for them to supply the hair. I get there and the first thing I had a problem with was she says well no it won’t be 180 it’ll be 160 plus $5 for each pack of hair used so I said ok fine whatever. Then I had to wait for someone to bring the hair. And on top of ALL of this I got there around 10:45am they got started at 11:37. I left there after 6:00pm. Not a big deal BUT a lady got there a couple of hours after me and left before me and we basically got the same style but hers were actually smaller. There were 5 girls braiding her hair and 1 on me! 5! How do you justify that. For maybe an hour when I first got there, there were 2 ladies braiding mine but after that it was 1 and it was the slowest braider in the shop. I was livid! I am already paying a higher price than what I was told then you put 5 people on someone who came after me! No ma’am never again! Very unprofessional to say the least. I will not be going back.

I went to have crochet braids done on Sept 17th and the stylist did an awesome job. Went back on Nov 4th and a different stylist who didn’t speak or possibly understand English well. I brought 4 packs of 2 colors. I had to tell her how to tie the hair which after 3 hours she only used 1 color. Did not trim the hair. Just said ok done. Had to leave for another appt. Called back next Nov 5th because the hair started to unravel. Returned Nov 7th and Adja along with stylist attempted to correct this mess. End result Adja added the 2nd color and replaced some of the loose pieces but I discovered by touching the area that they only fixed the front and the top of my head. Basically they intentionally let me leave knowing that they didn’t finish correcting the work of an inexperienced employee. Adja skills with crochet braids was not much better. I will never patronize this establishment again!!!!!
