I used their service before and didn’t get a good braid (plus they raised the price on me), but I chalked it up to my hair being natural and they probably couldn’t get it as neatly as I would have liked. I went back after cutting my hair and washing it. I asked how much to braid my hair and she looked at me and said it was too short to braid. Didn’t even check my hair length, nothing to see if it was just shrunken. I went home and braided it myself. Been braiding my hair ever since. Sad that Far Rockaway is subjected to these kinds of salons. So many others will keep going cause it’s convenient and can’t do any better.

I brought my two daughters to the store yesterday so I could get a price quote for hair braiding. The hair stylist looked at the hair of both children and provided a price. When returning to the shop today only one child was able to get hair braided because the beautician wanted to increase price after my second child sat down. A professional providing a quote to a customer and then wants to increase the price as work is being started. Bad Business… I don’t recommend….

Clean, nice, and friendly atmosphere. My stylist Favor was great, took her time and gave me exactly what I wanted. Adja the owner is very friendly and fast with her braiding skills! I have to give her a try next time I go. The price wasn’t too bad as well. If you’re looking for a professional atmosphere, this is the place to go.

Took my 13 year old to have her hair braided today and I must say that I am pleased with the work done by stylist Mary. The staff was pleasant and the salon was clean, hair was done quickly too. I would definitely recommend them and I will definitely be using their services again.

Good for box braids because you can’t mess those up. Anything else, try to go to a new age braider who knows how to really do braids. Africans who braid are not very skilled in different styles nowadays. I got lemonade braids and it just wasn’t what I expected at all.

I got waist length boxbraids done for $140. The shop provided the braiding hair, and it took the braider approximately 5 hours to get done on my head. My only complaint is that I had to keep indicating that I wanted large chunks of my own hair and less weave to prevent breakage. Overall I am pleased with how my hair came out today and I intend on returning.

Horrible says one price then when you pay they add extra charges. I would not recommend adults to this shop only young children because that’s honestly where their skill level is at! Then when I call and said I was unhappy the owner sent me back to the same stylist when I told her I dislike how she does hair. Not professional at all
