Adena Dermatology, located in the Adena Medical Office Building in Chillicothe, Ohio, about an hour south of Columbus, diagnoses and treats skin problems such as warts, acne, actinic keratosis (AK, a precancerous lesion caused by the sun’s ultraviolet rays), and skin cancers. Adena Dermatology specializes in Mohs surgery, an in-office procedure used to remove common types of skin cancer, primarily basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. The procedure is designed to completely remove cancerous tissue during one office visit with minimal damage to the surrounding tissue.

I was told I only was scheduled for a 10 min. visit so any other issues besides a routine visit needed to be rescheduled. She could either remove the cyst or do an over all check up but she couldn’t do both. So evidently the removal of a cyst was only a 10min. job but that needed to reschedule. It’s all about the money and not the patient. I will not go back.

Dr.Dohse was very nice and A wonderful Dr. BUT her receptionist was very RUDE while trying to get another appointment and hanged the phone up on me. While wanting to schedule me out 6 months when I asked for sooner she hanged up on me with not caring about their patient.

Worst potential service I could have ever experienced! I got my days mixed up and missed my appointment and because it was my first appointment the dermatologist stated that I would now have to find another dermatologist because there policy is that if you miss a first appointment your not allowed to be seen. Biggest line of bull I’ve ever heard, people take your money elsewhere. Practices like this is undeserving of loyal patients!!!
