I had a 9am appointment this morning and nobody showed up or answered the phone. It’s now 9:15am and I’ve been standing outside since 8:55am. This is unacceptable and I will absolutely be getting my deposit back. Do not even try to collect the full amount from my card. American Express does not play that!!!

I booked two appointments with them . The first one was my first time going to the salon, I very much enjoyed my experience. The stylists were helpful and knowledgeable in knowing what I was looking for. The second appointment I made was for the color only. The stylist was a little late , but it was morning in ATL (traffic is real). So after the color process was done, she starts to style my hair. Mind you I’m thinking oh okay maybe she’s doing that as a courtesy for being a little late. By the time I came to pay I was charged extra for the styling that I never asked for . I tried calling and emailing to talk to the manager about what took place and have yet to hear anything. It’s going on 2 weeks since. I wanted to continue going cause it felt like I found a place I can trust with my hair, but if I’m going to be charged for a style I never asked for then I won’t be going back.

Had a very unsatisfactory experience. How can I pay my money, ask you to wash my hair to my satisfaction and you argue with me? Sure enough I noticed my hair was not clean by the next day because Ms. Hairdresser did what she wanted, caring not about the client. Only the receptionist was welcoming. Wasted my time and money. They need more hairdressers who care to serve.

I cut off my locs and just wanted to even out the fro and make it look presentable…maybe with a curl-defined look. She used clippers to even it out and cleaned up my kitchen well. Unfortunately, the stylist didnt hear my styling needs & kept suggesting temp loc styles for my super short fro. After me being persistent with what I wanted, she then suggested a product that she had which is sold at Wal-Mart & an expensive conditioner mask treatment after I’d already told her that I’d just conditioned my hair with eggs & honey. I simply didn’t trust that she wouldn’t overcharge me while using an over-the-counter mask. I have to admit that I don’t like going to a salon where they use non-professional products. Their license provides access to amazing professional products which is part of the premium in paying for their services, imo.

So Ms.Damerea is the ! Not only does she set my head on fire every time I go into the shot. Her professionalism is always on point. She does an awesome job on my locs and the styles she comes up with girl you know you are always on point. The salon staff is always courteous and answers any questions in which i may have. Would not let anyone else put their hands in my head but Damerea.

This was my first visit to the salon, and it wasn’t a pleasant one. First, I was told my hair needed to be trimmed and that trimming was recommended at most every 2 months. I have always been told trims every 3-4 months, and this has come from multiple experienced stylists and instructors. Furthermore, I requested two strand twists. However, I received two strand starter loc twists. I expressed my concerns prior to leaving the salon, but the stylist assured me that I received two-strand twists. Well, she was partially correct if I was seeking to start locs. That wasn’t the case. Also, I was charged an additional fee for my hair density which I didn’t necessarily agree with although I didn’t argue. This was quite an unpleasant experience. I’m

My daughter made a hair appointment online as instructed selected a time slot available and paid a deposit to hold date and time for appointment. The stylist called and asked her to move it up a hour no reason provided and when she could not make it she was told she could not be seen even though she arrived before the time she paid her deposit for. Unacceptable and poor customer service. But this is just a waist of time because the owner nor the stylist is going to do anything about the service received but I am posting for others to know what to look out for.

Quaint black owned natural hair salon… I was greeted by the owner and hair appointment was on time. My stylist seemed frustrated or annoyed at first, but warmed up. This can be intimidating for someone not familiar with natural hair salons. Three strand twist out turned out beautifully and reasonably priced. I will definitely be back!
