Critical: PunctualityI don’t even write reviews normally, but I will never go back to this shop again. Scheduled my appointment a week before the date. I arrived on time and waited over 2 hours for someone to start on my head. I was a the shop for 9 hours. She clearly overbooked herself and only had 2 people working. Instead of saying that she is overbooked and rescheduling, she just had people waiting for HOURS. They do not value your time, but they want their money. There are plenty of other braiding shops that braid just as well and are more punctual. I don’t even write reviews normally, but I will never go back to this shop again. Scheduled my appointment a week before the date. I arrived on time and waited over 2 hours for someone to start on my head. I was a the shop for 9 hours. She clearly overbooked herself and only had 2 people working. Instead of saying that she is overbooked and rescheduling, she just had people waiting for HOURS. They do not value your time, but they want their money. There are plenty of other braiding shops that braid just as well and are more punctual. Please, take your money and time elsewhere.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI’ve been a customer since 2016 but today was horrible, I have a trip to Puerto Rico coming up on the 29th I thought I should get my hair done since my Sunday is already booked, I got there at 2 she over booked herself, I waited about 2 hours before someone even started taking down my hair , they asked me to take down my hair. Like why would you ask that , I didn’t even get the style I wanted because she said it will take forever, It took them almost 9 hours to do and hour and half style two hours at max because of fooling around. I hate to even write a bad review but it has to be said . Plus she kicked me out in the dark at 12:30 in the morning, after I told her I needed to wait on a ride because I don’t feel safe out in the dark . They want us to value their time but our time shouldn’t be honored? I’ve been a customer since 2016 but today was horrible, I have a trip to Puerto Rico coming up on the 29th I thought I should get my hair done since my Sunday is already booked, I got there at 2 she over booked herself, I waited about 2 hours before someone even started taking down my hair , they asked me to take down my hair. Like why would you ask that , I didn’t even get the style I wanted because she said it will take forever, It took them almost 9 hours to do and hour and half style two hours at max because of fooling around. I hate to even write a bad review but it has to be said . Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI was really looking forward to my first retwist. The owner was 30 minutes late to my appointment to start. The woman I booked my appointment with was not who did my hair because she booked another client at the same time. The woman who did my hair said she was spraying conditioner in my hair to separate the parts between my locs. It was Pump it Up! She also retwisted my hair with gel. So much gel that I had to come home and wash it immediately. There was gel under my nails and brown water running down my drain for about 15 straight, and I probably didn’t even get it all out. On top of all that, she untwisted some of my two strand twists to retwist them. My hair has been twisted for a month and a half so imagine started the locing process all over on random locs throughout your head. My hair was so hard and flaky by the time I got home. The only thing good I have to say is that they were twisted well, too bad I wasted my time and money after having to wash my hair.I was really looking forward to my first retwist. I was really looking forward to my first retwist. The owner was 30 minutes late to my appointment to start. The woman I booked my appointment with was not who did my hair because she booked another client at the same time.
