I came to the salon to ask about getting a blow-out done since I am natural. I was skeptical at first because I was not sure if they did African American hair, but they did an amazing job. I loved how my hair was washed, deep conditioned, and styled. Everyone was friendly in there, the salon was clean and the atmosphere was inviting. I would definitely go back there and bring my 15 year old daughter who is also natural. Here are some pics!!

I was highly disappointed coming here because of the pictures and reviews. I have been to Dominican shops before and I’m familiar with the prices and how they do things. Anyway, I went for a deep conditioner, straightening and trim. The deep conditioning was a joke. The shampoo assistant barely put the conditioner in the middle of my hair or combed in it. When it was time to straighten my hair, I was not impressed. My roots were still puffy and my hair was not bone straight. I had fly aways and had to go over areas where she missed some hair. Not to mention I was charged $100 and when asked how much was my services she couldn’t really tell me. She mumbled and spoke fast. I know I should I spoke up at the time but I was angry and wanted to leave immediately.

I didn’t get my hair done the day I went cause my niece did.. I wanted to watch to see how good they were.. I saw the love she was giving when she was doing my niece hair.. and the girl before her.. i normally get my hair done in Edgewood but she got me now.. there awesome

Ada can cut some hair! My hair was breaking off in different areas. You can’t even tell now. My hair is so nicely cut. She didn’t cut more than needed & the short parts blend in seemlessly. She listened to all of my concerns. Let me know if my request was achievable & gave good recommendations. I made pretend I did not speak Spanish to see if they where rude unbeknownst to their English speaking customers. They talked to eachother in Spanish making sure they took the customers in the right order & they didn’t have customers waiting. All of the customers there gave glowing recommendations. I will definitely go back if I’m in that area again.

I recently visited salon. It as a poor experience. My hair wasn’t done well. I was burned several times.My hair wasn’t straight. She would stop and talk with co-workers. I also discovered that the stylist didn’t have a license., only the owner has a posted license. Although the owner knew my experience, she did nothing to make up for the poor service I received. I don’t recommend this salon for people who want professional service and respect.

Not only does she keep my hair gorgeous but she has become more like a close girlfriend that I enjoy talking to.
