Went on a Friday around 4. There were only TWO people working. They took me immediately only for another rude regular customer to come in who did not want to wait. My full set was rushed all the way through while the other customer was breathing down their necks. The acrylic is thick and unshapely. The almond shape I asked for was not uniform and honestly atrocious. They basically threw me out of the chair to take the other woman. I could have stayed and asked for it fixed but I was over it by that point. I had to soak the nails off only days later because I don’t even want a reshape on this train wreck. Will not return. Decent selection of colors though.

Critical: Professionalism, ValueThere were only 2 people in the shop getting service, and only 2 people working which meant they were busy. I walked in to be ignored and not greeted after standing there for 10 mins when I had to say hello, and asked if there was a sign in or something. The worker got highly upset I initiated to be greeted. I left. Save your dignity and dollars! Horrible experience. The owner did my refill, I have cuts on 3 different cuticles and two under my nail tip. I asked her over and over if she could be more gentle but she ignored me. If I pulled my finger back from pain, she would just stop and take a deep breath. I told her that I was surprised that she could stay in business because of how rude she was…she snapped back in her rude smokers voice and said “only you say that!” and laughed. She asked another lady to paint my nails and asked me to move to another table. The new lady was nice but very inexperienced. She painted very slowly and seemed a bit nervous. I tipped her anyway because she was really trying hard to do a good job. She was like the little engine that could. Ultimately, the paint job was better than the shape, file and cuticle cuts I’d received from the owner….even though I have red polish smeared on 2 of my cuticles. Also, no one speaks english except the owner, its a little frustrating having to have to wait for her to translate everything for them when I’d asked others questions. I asked if she was the owner, they had to call her. I mentioned that she was too rough and that she had cut me…they had to call her…imagine me telling her what I said so that she could translate it to the other lady. She never translated it and just walked off. I imagine its pretty difficult to work for a person like that…never again will I visit this place…not even for a last minute refill before a holiday weekend in New Orleans.

I want there on a weekday and the shop was not very busy. I asked the lady about dip powder before I sat in my pedicure chair she rushed me and said “just sit down”. She started the water with no regard for the temperature. She didn’t put any foot soak in the water. Shortly after, another lady appeared to do my pedi and she rushed every single step. I asked for the verbal pedicure, which she seemed reluctant to do. (I guess it takes to long) I again asked about color choices and the dip polish. She told me no “It’s no good. Just do gel”. I STILL had not chosen a color. The lady who came to do the manicure finally got me some colors, but she also cut me on three fingers. My pedicure was rushed and since I didn’t have a choice of color I just asked for French. It was the worst polish I have ever gotten. There was white polish under the nails and on my flesh. I was so anxious to leave I just asked for pink on my nails, as a French would have kept me too long. I will not be going there ever again. And, they did not wash the tub out after me with any cleaner. She only rinsed it with water.

I have been going here for about 12 years. I am always pleased with their work. I have tried a few other places & was not satisfied. I always go back to this salon. Lynn is the sweetest lady. I highly recommend this nail place.
