Run here now!! I’m not kidding. I struggled on and off with acne for about 15 years. When I was younger, I tried traditional methods with topicals and medications, but nothing truly lasted and the side effects from medications caused health problems for me. After a traumatic life event, I developed really bad cystic acne. I tried all sorts of skin care products and tried very strict elimination diets. I got off birth control and did all sorts of lab work, spend thousands of dollars on skincare products and supplements. Over time with a very strict diet, my cysts began to lessen, but I was still having tons of other acne and my skin was really red, dry, and irritated. I was at a total loss and sick of throwing away TONS of money trying various different products with no real success. The embarrassment and struggle of adult acne for years was really weighing me down. I final stumbled on Cora’s website and decided to book an appointment. I reached out to Cora after my acne hit it’s worst from coming off hormonal birth-control. I felt Cora used various mechanisms to make me think that it is my diet, lack of exercise, stress, hair products, face products, even toothpaste and more that was breaking me out. She told me white rice was also the reason I was breaking out. As soon as I switched to Cerave and used medication prescribed by a dermatologist my skin cleared. I now have zero white heads and texture compared to when I was using Cora’s skin products I was so broken out. I felt uncomfortable to hangout with my friends and even attend online class. What upset me most is that Cora would take a few months to ship products, she would say that she would ship it by a certain day and then she wouldn’t ship it and I would call her and ask for an update on the product and she would not respond to me I had to message her multiple times in order to get a response. After she did finally ship my products she sent it to the wrong address and then once she sent the replacement I was missing products from my order. She’s not flexible with using any other products except her own and I think that there are other products out there that will make your skin clear. I also don’t think that she’s willing to work with other products because she wants the most amount of money that she can get. I will not be returning as a client and I am so upset she convinced me to use her products when they were clearly irritating my skin.

I suffer from crazy acne throughout high school, tried all the brands you could think of, either it’s from the most expensive line of retail skincare or drugstore, been to several dermatologists, ending up with prescriptions that just don’t work in the long run.
