I’ve had my hair cut by Luis and Joe and they both do a great job. They are cool to talk to and hang out with while they are doing their work. Jose hasn’t cut my hair yet, but he’s a real cool guy to talk to and I always see that he does a great job on his customers too. They’ve usually got a ball game on the TV. Just make sure you have a couple hours free. It’s not an in-and-out kind of place, but it’s worth taking the time – like ordering a gourmet meal instead of driving through Taco Bell. I highly recommend Ace’s to anyone in Paso.

I’ve been going to Ace’s for almost 2 years now. Each of the guys there is talented and professional. I always get compliments on my cut. People will actually ask me if I go to Ace’s, because their work is that recognizable. Sometimes it’s busy and you might have to wait. But no matter if it’s the music they play or the sports they watch, it’s an easy wait. No there’s no appointments. It’s a barber shop, not a salon. Either of the 3 fellas there will keep you comin back, and have you leavin feelin dapper every time. Not to mention they sell Suavecito and Shiner’s Gold to keep you pomped up and styled until you come back.

Horrible customer service. Called to make an appointment and they said no appointment necessary, just come on in.I sat and waited with three other people as they catered to customers who came in after us. They didn’t even acknowledge me. I do not recommend this place.
