They will over charge you if you don’t pay attention. They can be pretty rude and they also want you back in 2 weeks as opposed to 3 weeks. They try to make the most money so pay attention, especially since prices aren’t listed. And just an FYI, good places: you will go every 3 weeks for a fill. Bad places like this that want your money and don’t push your cuticles all the way back: you will notice it you’ll need a fill at 2 weeks.

Worst experience ever! I went here for the first time and asked for a manicure (on natural nails!), pedicure, and eyebrows. The nail technician appeared unenthusiastic, the service was rushed, and done poorly. Came here unplanned because I needed to get a quick pedicure between business trips. I usually go to a salon elsewhere but decided to stop here. Terrible. I will never come here again. I was one of 4 people getting a pedicure at the time and they were not consistent. I did not get any sort of foot or leg massage whatsoever and others did. The woman doing my nails clearly didn’t want to be, and was very short and harsh. She hurt me several times. She also got mad when my toe was too close to the others. Sorry I don’t have control over how my body is??? She also kept sighing heavily. The entire pedicure took 12 minutes (seriously). What a joke. Do not go here. My normal salon is infinitely better.

Upon my first visit to the salon I was greeted very nicely. The salon was clean and in order. Jesse and Laurie took the time to speak with me and find out what I was looking for. Jessie was great. She paid attention to detail, made me comfortable every step of the way and even as it started to get busy she continued to work and did not rush. I will definitely be going back thank you Jessie!!

It was a good experience my mother and I use to go to another nail salon and we had to looked for a new one because they had cut my mom, to over priced and never ever got my shape right and the first time coming here they were nice and welcoming the lady who did my mom’s nails was good she got her shape right and my mom didn’t get hurt or cut and the guy who did my nails did everything right and took his time to get it right too which was amazing they also had all the Mood changing colors!!!

Prices are low but the service and the quality of nails is horrible!!!! I went there on Sunday to have my nails done, this place was recommended by somone so I thought I’ll give it a try! Big MISTAKE!!!!!! These people do the nails in less than half hour that’s how quick a full set is done with nail polish, they take one customer after another not paying close attention how they do their work!!! My nails were all uneven, bubbles in one nail and today (Wendsday) my nail polish came off from one finger and another started to chip. I went there to have them fix that but unfortunately I didn’t remember what color number I have choose on Sunday. They made me sit there and go through 4 boxes of all the gel colors they have to find the match and not to mention took few people that have already came after I did. I couldn’t find the matching color so I asked if they can repaint all nails since its their fault that the nail polish came off in the first place, just few days after I had it originally done. They told me they will have to charge me again to have my nails all repainted. I was really upset about that. One of the girls that works there asked me then to sit in the chair picked up a color and showed it to me and it seemed like it was a matching color but once she put couple coats on, i noticed the shade she put on my nail was a shade darker. She looked at me and said something in her language and went to work on another women nails. I was so upset I just left the salon and will never return. This place is a joke! And I’m not sure how they get the rating they do because they most certainly treated me with no respect and asked me to pay for painting my nails even though it was their fault that the nail polish came off in the first place. I never had that happened in any salons I have been in CT!!!! And if there was an issue they would fix it with no problem and not charge me, but this place is a total ripoff!!!! They charge customers for something that they failed to do properly in first place! SHAME ON YOU!!!! They charge you less but do nails so quick that there’s no quality in them and they will start peeling and chipping few days later like my did!!!! Don’t go to this salon save yourself the headache and embarrassment!!!!!! Horrible!!!!!! Just HORRIBLE!!!!!

I went in last Friday for a fill and two days later I had two broken tips! The guy I went to made them so thin that they broke off… I have NEVER had a nail break on me before and I’ve been getting acrylic for years and years. He rushed through the whole service because it was busy which is why they came out so bad. He only had me put my nails under the UV once!! When all other times you do it at least 3 times per hand.. so my gel nail polish started to peel two days later as well. I went back in to get them fixed and another one broke on me the day after I got the other two fixed!! I WONT be going back.

I started going to Ace Beautiful over 2yrs ago for a friend’s wedding and have been going ever since. Laurie and Jessie are the best and they do their best to squeeze you in, in a pinch if you call ahead. I always call for an appt. as they are usually very busy. Prices are very affordable and the staff is usually very pleasant. I’ve tried places closer to home and always end up going back to Ace Beautiful.
