Thomas has been helping me for 8 years! He is a phenomenal massage therapist, an expert at AIS, and has a brilliant mind. He is unique in that not only does he treat is clients but he EDUCATES his clients on how they can treat themselves. He has the greater goal of improving the lives of others and it’s very apparent in his work.

Thomas is great teacher and an amazing therapist! His knowledge of body mechanics is second to none! He thoroughly understands injuries and chronic pain related to muscle imbalances and illness. He not only can work on you to help you heal, but will prescribe a stretch and strengthening routine so you can work on yourself at home. He is hands down the best in the field!

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityThomas excels at both massage and the Assisted Stretching therapy!! He really understands the soft tissue issues and can literally “put his finger” on a solution; AND he is very motivated to get you, the client, doing the proper stretching to help yourself out. I highly recommend Thomas DuBois!

Having used Thomas personally as a client I can’t say enough great things about his expertise, attention to detail, and care for his patients as a practitioner. The stretching techniques he shared have been a huge help both in terms of flexibility and strength. Thomas is AMAZING!!!-

I am a 2011 graduate of the Hudson Valley School of Massage Therapy, formerly located in West Park NY. Mr. Thomas J. Dubois (Mr. Thomas as I refer to him 🙂 ), was one of the best instructors at the school. I took his Western and Eastern practice classes. A few of my classmates felt Eastern was a waste of time and should have been an “elective”. I disagreed. Mr. Thomas is very knowledgeable of the subject because he lives it. He doesn’t just talk the talk, he walks the walk. His in-depth teaching helped me get thru the loss of my favorite cousin in July of 2010. During that time we were deep into the subject of the Metal element which is associated with the lungs. My cousin passed away from lung cancer. Mr. Thomas’ class was my therapy. Now, whenever I suffer a loss of a loved one, I tap into my inner Eastern knowledge and find a new way to cope. Thank you Mr. Thomas!

First off, 5 stars truly isn’t enough stars to associate with how effective AIS was for me and to describe how truly gifted a therapist Thomas DuBois is. My journey began nearly 3 ago. After months of lower pain back and several appointments with my medical doctor i was diagnosed with a disc herniation between by L5/S1. I also had sciatic pain in my right leg as well as extreme nerve pain. I was first given Morphine for pain, then muscles relaxers as the initial diagnosis was muscle spasms. Once i finally had a MRI scheduled and the herniation was discovered, i was then referred to a spine specialist for possible back surgery. My pain continued while I waited a month for the appointment. During that time i visited my chiropractor office and explained my course of treatment which really was ineffective and more of a waiting game to that point. At that time, i was referred to Thomas and immediately after a short physical examination was told “We can help you”. It was the first time I’d ever heard those words and had hope. Thomas and I began 1hr AIS sessions twice a week.
