It was easy to schedule a haircut appointment with Acapello for a time and date that worked for me! Brooke was great and is the only hair stylist working at Acapello in Freeport, even though they have chairs or a lot more people. She asked me questions about whether or not I wear my hair up and what I was looking for to make sure I got a haircut I was happy with. She also suggested some products to help give my fine hair some oomph! Happy with my haircut, so I’ll definitely be back to Acapello.

I went in today to get some highlights done and a haircut for my wedding coming up in 2 weeks. I haven’t gotten anything done to my hair in over two years (including a haircut). Lyndsey was amazing! She has so much attention to detail and does exactly what you ask. She makes you feel very good about yourself and actually cares. He personality topped off her incredible service. Critical: QualityWhen they washed my hair the water was cold. The stylists hands were shaking the whole time she cut my hair. The actual cut turned out fine, but she didn’t do a great job styling it – I just went home and washed it and styled it myself. The actual cut turned out fine, but she didn’t do a great job styling it – I just went home and washed it and styled it myself. I was supposed to get my eyebrows done too and they didn’t do them; I also didn’t say anything because of how shaky her hands were, I’m not sure I wanted her doing my eyebrows anyway.

I just want to say that I MISS ACAPELLO in Freeport so much!! I moved to Fairfield County, Connecticut a few months ago, and just got back from my second Aveda salon, hoping not to be as disappointed as I was by the first. Unfortunately, I was. Neither of the two Aveda locations I’ve tried came even a little close to the service and ambiance of the Acapello Freeport shop. Even though the second place purported to be a full-service location(offering complimentary sensory rituals, etc.), there were none to be found. The last time I was in Freeport, Justin gave me an amazing shoulder treatment that felt wonderful; before she moved away, Alisha always gave the best hand massages. Neither place I’ve been to here in CT has the serene, tasteful, upscale atmosphere I’m used to and expect from the Aveda brand based on my experiences with Acapello. Worse, on this last visit I asked that my hair color be matched more to my natural shade, and instead emerged blonder than ever before. Not quite sure how that happened.
