I had box braids done by Tamara. I have never had my hair braided so quickly! 11am-230pm! She was careful not to pull my thin edges, and not to put too much tension on my thin hair. I didn’t think it was going to be tight. It wasn’t tight while she was braiding it. But once I got home, I could feel that she really did a good job! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the price. A little high for me. But then again I usually do my own hair in crochet braids. Just not used to paying so much for medium size box braids. I got my hair done for my Caribbean vacation coming up soon. I hope it will last and that the price was well worth it. This will be the test for me if I go back. No problems with staff or atmosphere. Very friendly.

Hello. I just wanted to send a message to let you know how disappointed I am in my braids. I came in yesterday (1-21) to get my hair braided. I told my braider I did NOT want big sections of hair for my braids. I do not like braids like that. She sectioned off a part for me and asked me if that size was good. I told her yes. I trusted that she was going to make each single braid section like that but I was very wrong. It is upsetting that I can not trust the braider to do what I asked of them. I’m paying my hard earned money to get my hair done and now I am very unhappy with it. I am attaching a picture so that you can see what I am referring too. The green circled part is the one that she showed me. The ones in the back is 2 to 3 times LARGER. Not to mention I was charged $20 more then what the online price states. I like your shop but sadly I won’t be back.

I called to make an appointment for tape-in extensions at least two weeks in advance. I received a phone call two days before the appointment was supposed to happen, and was told that the stylist who does tape-in extensions was on vacation that week, and that my appointment would have to be cancelled. My whole intention of getting the tape-ins installed was for a trip coming up in a few days, so there was no way to reschedule in enough time. The receptionists need to have a better method of communication, to know when the stylists are off. Very disappointing experience.

First let me say I have been to the salon about 3 time before covid. Now I went to this salon to get wash & blow dry my hair was tangle and the stylist decided to us a comb to out the tangles. She hand a attituded when I told her she was hurting my head and can she use a detangling Brush. The owner was rights in front of her and both just laugh at the situation. While blow drying my hair she barely separated my hair and the flat iron was places to close to my scalps a few times.

I was so displeased with my install I received a wig install was not plucked my baby hairs were poorly laid the woman barely cut off the extra lace like the lace was all the way on my forehead! Had to go back and get it fixed and it was still wrong. So I contacted jeneke via social media because that’s who usually slays me but she no longer works there sadly I’ll be going to jeneke outside of the shop for now on and others should do the same absolute weave works is not what it use to be !

If only there was zero star available. Worst customer service. The worst $150 crotchet I will ever do in my life happened here. It took 15mins and it looked horrible plus customer service response was so bad. Judgement unto whomever benefited from my $150 for they must lose 10 folds.

So I’ve been going to this place for sew ins for the past 4 years. I recently went a few days ago, to get a full sew in with a closure for my trip. This is the first time where the service wasn’t great. Not terrible, but just not great. For the past 4 years, I’ve always had the same stylist, Camille. This was the first time I didn’t have her, which I believe is why the experience wasn’t good. First off, my appointment was scheduled for 3pm, in which I arrived on time. I saw that Camille was about half way through someone else’s style. I heard one of the workers say something about them accidentally double booking Camille. So I waited about 20 minutes for someone to start my head. It was not Camille, but the person braided down my hair. Than she left, & I waited ANOTHER 35 minutes for someone else, who again was not Camille, to do my sew in. The person did an ok job. My only major critique is that the front of my hair is not laying flat, so it looks weird. I didn’t notice it immediately, most likely because I was so focused on leaving due to being there for over 3 hours ! I’m debating whether or not I’d come back there. I feel like I only will if it’s guaranteed that I will have my original stylist. I also am driving an hour away for these services, because Camille always does a great job.

My daughter hated her hair, 1st with my own eyes she washed my daughter hair for 1 minute just to charge $20 for a wash the products was white as soon as we stepped out the salon and I know she saw it ..the ponytail mold was like a helmet because she never sectioned it (yes I know) the swoop was very bad work, the hair was never laid she used no gel at all..never AGAIN!! And she didn’t even care to ask cause she saw my daughter face she tried to clean up the gotz 2b mess she had created around the edges but left even more of a mess, the mold lifted the same night and she needs to be outed and ashamed if you didn’t know you should of said something

Was trying to avoid this but I literally can’t because of how inconsistent the stylists were and customer service. I sent a very specific picture of what I wanted, was told by my stylist that she can’t do it exactly how I asked but that it could still be done. I asked for feed in braids in the front and box braids in the back, the stylist told me she needed to pick up her daughter so she didn’t have time to do it the way I wanted to. To which I replied okay never mind and proceeded to leave. She stopped me and said that another stylist could help me. Essentially two women were doing my hair but I didn’t receive feed ins and the crotchet hair was falling out of my head 2 days after I got it done. When I texted the number listed again they told me to come in to get it fixed and I couldn’t because I was already on vacation. The receptionist stopped replying after explaining to her that I had to pay another stylist on vacation to fix my hair. They also would tell me how much my hair would cost after asking 4 times before I got it sold. I paid $190 just for my braids to lift and my hair to fall out. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.
