This rating is based on my massage experience, I can’t rate the other services. Tracy was my masseuse and she did a great job. I had the 1/2 hour massage with hot stone enhancement. It felt great and I will go back. Tracy has been in the business for 20 years and I could tell. Nice, clean environment with pleasant staff.

I’ve been going to Matthew since he was at the Canton location, and I am always grateful for his level of expertise and professionalism. I’m an ER nurse, so my body suffers the consequences of a physically and emotionally demanding job. Not only are Matthew’s massages helpful and stress-relieving, but he also takes time to teach me simple stretches I can do at home/work to help me feel better through the day. Highly recommend. Love the atmosphere at this location as well, so calming.

Been a client here for nearly a decade and despite never having lived in Baltimore, I always schedule family visits around hair appointments – they’re that good! Dana Burke has been my go to colorist and stylist. I saw Jeff today for the first time due to a schedule conflict and was also thrilled with the appointment. Shoutout to Noelle, the manager, for being so agreeable and helpful. Can’t say enough good things about this salon! I highly recommend!

I received the deep tissue massage which I enjoyed so much, with a express pedi. Next time I want to have my pedicure done first, so I can continue my relaxation for the entire day!!! The staff made me feel extremely comfortable

Not a good experience. I scheduled a pedicure online, and when we arrived, I asked about gel polish. I was asked why did I want gel polish because most customers don’t get gel polish, and it’s more expensive. I said I really like the gel polish because it stays longer, but Gelina insisted that she has a way of the regular polish staying longer and won’t smudge. She put saran wrap on my toes before I put my sneakers on, and of course they smudged… I was really puzzled as to why the gel polish was being discouraged. Will never, ever return or recommend. Honestly shocked because I really liked About Faces, this was just an odd experience all the way around.

It sad to say my experience at this establishment was not great. It was Sep 30th, my first time going to this day spa, I usually go somewhere else. As me and my friend approaches the salon, everyone became quite and all eyes was on us. I experienced racial discrimination with my esthetician. I will not expose her last name but her first name was Maddie. Before proceeding to have the facial done, I asked the esthetician would any of the product she would be using would affect any medication I was taking. She gave me a vague response as if I should already know the answer to the question. I wasn’t sure what type of facial was the best one for me at the time. I asked her the different between the facial but it seem as though she did not know the difference between the facial herself. Before starting the session she ask “So do you want to do the $103.00 or $145.00 facial. At that point she still have not explain to me the differences from each facial. As we proceed through out the facial, it was completely quiet. I have never had a facial done where the esthetician did not have friendly conversation through out the session. As the session begins to come to an end, I can hear her cleaning up and she began to lock all of the cabinet doors and draws before telling me the session was over. I still gave my esthetician a tip for completing the job but I very offending by her behavior. I suggest you guy give your employees training on working with different races. I will not go back to About faces in Timonium.

I went in to have my hair cut and colored after having done absolutely nothing to my hair for over a year. I had several weird color lines going across my hair where old color jobs grew out awkwardly. I had never been before so I read reviews. I saw Yulia and she was awesome. She listened to what I wanted, checked out some pictures and then got to work. My hair turned out awesome even after a huge amount of negligence on my part. I also love that she was friendly but didn’t want to talk to me the entire time. If you’re getting your hair highlighted you’re going to be there for probably 2+ hours and that’s just too long to have to talk the entire time. I will definitely be back.

I normally visit the Canton Location but they are closed on Monday’s This past Monday was my birthday 8/08 so I schedule for a Massage to enjoy my day. Timonium Location did not welcome me at all The receptionist made me feel like I didn’t belong there as if I was incapable of even having an appointment or if I couldn’t afford their services. 1st red flag I was directed to go upstairs and wait for my massage tech.. As about 4-5 employees walk past and greet the 2 White ladies in the waiting area and made sure they were being helped I was left there with no greeting no smile as if I was invisible 10 mins past the time of my scheduled massage no one came out I went back down stairs to see if I could just cancel because by the the 3rd red flag already popped up Their response was my provider will be getting off her lunch break soon LUNCH BREAK really… Clearly I was not wanted in this establishment and even tho I love Canton location I cannot support this company any longer and yes I broke down in the car because this was my birthday gift to myself and the was I was treated was not acceptable
