Today I had the wonderful cut, wash, and blow dry experience by stylist Susan. I was nervous as this was my first time at Aaina Salon and my first time having someone new style my hair. i’ve attached the photo reference of what i wanted and what i got. my henna wasn’t done at a desk or table it was done in a chair in the waiting room with me having to hold my own arm up the whole time. i didn’t receive what i wanted at all and am honestly pretty upset. the staff was super friendly and gave good prices. but skill wise they are sorely lacking.

I’ve been going to Aaina Beauty salon for over fifteen years! They always do a great job for me and I usually do threading, waxing, Mehendi, and my hair. I am now also bringing my daughter for Mehendi. They are always very clean and patient. The only Shamsha is wonderful—responsible, caring, and honest! I highly recommend !

I went just before the year end vacation at 6:30pm – a couple of hours before the closing time. But they welcomed me and also accommodated a facial for which I didn’t book an appt earlier. Wonderful experience. Got a great hair cut. I forgot the name of the hairdresser but I was told that she was there since the opening of the store. Sweet lady with patience and very skilled hands. Very reasonably priced too. Kudos to the whole team. I would certainly recommend anyone to give a try. I love going back here.

They used to be good, but now they have declined in service. I have been going to this salon for about 7 years now for eyebrow threading ($6 for women and $7 for men) and haircut (I think $45+ if you have thick hair and get layer cut, but they did a really good job last time I got a haircut from them). I used to get full body wax too (used to be $30 for underarms, full arms and legs), but I stopped because I prefer sugaring at home for a couple years now for many reasons. However, my last visit (about a month ago) was not so pleasant. Normally they do a decent job for brows, but this time the lady who did my brows seemed inexperienced; she had no idea how to do them and she kept wanting to make my brows thinner. I said no. Moreover, when I went to pay at the desk I found that they have introduced extra fees for using a credit card (this was never the case in the 7 years I have visited this salon, and this was one of the reasons why I switched from Mehak to Aaina 7 years ago). The owner was not very friendly at the time of payment either. Also, the “coupons” they give at the end of your visit aren’t really deals; they are pretty much the regular prices at the salon. So they hardly give any good deals. I used to reccommend Aaina to my friends, but I do not recommend them anymore. Now I will have to find another eyebrow salon.
