This was my first (and last) time at this establishment. Before even asking my name or anything about me (usual small talk) Alex blamed me for his shortage of workers. Without asking me, he said I voted for Biden and that Biden made it so no one wanted to work. I told him I am a public school teacher and worked throughout the pandemic, even when businesses closed. This meant nothing to him because (based on my skin color alone) I didn’t want him to have the 9 workers he used to have.

Haven’t gone to this salon in years but that will change after today. Went in on a Sunday morning with my sister, no appointment. They were able to take us anyway, even though they were pretty busy at 1030 am. I got ANC and my sister got a gel manicure. I have the worst cuticles and I usually bleed a bit at other salons regardless of how careful the tech is. Not at AA, my tech was incredibly gentle and efficient. No cuts and my cuticles weren’t even inflamed. Best ANC manicure I’ve ever gotten – not too thick but still solid. They had quite a color selection also. My sister’s gel manicure came out excellent too and they got us out at the same time. Very clean space, real friendly staff, and prices are reasonable for the quality. Will be making an appointment in the future since they get busy (for good reason)!

I brought my mom over the weekend for the first time. We had pedicures and she had a manicure too. Those were the best pedicures we ever experienced. The ladies massaged our feet and legs for a full 10 mins. Manicure was fine but nothing out of the ordinary. Owner is very friendly with a good sense of humor. We had appts and they took us in right on time. Place is clean and plenty of workers on hand.

I had a 10 AM mani/pedi appointment and when I walked in, they had already started the water for my pedi. They’re friendly, spend a lot of time on the massage, and the facility is clean. Make sure you make an appointment though because they definitely get busy.

WAS TURNED AWAY because I did not have an appointment. It was a Wednesday afternoon. Seriously? Perhaps the “Walk-In Welcome” that is on their business card and building should be removed. What a shame.
