I’m visiting the Frederick area over the winter holidays, and since my birthday falls during this time, I decided to treat myself with a massage (a gift from me to me!). Val was kind enough to fit me into her busy schedule, and she made the scheduling and online forms easy so that when I showed up, we could focus our time on the massage. Valerie is a goddess. Not to sound weird here but she navigates my body better than I can. She knows exactly where to go when a muscle is out of wack and gives it hell. I’ve seen probably over 30 massage therapists in my life and she by far is the one I’d travel a good distance to go see. I’m lucky to have stumbled upon her. So far I’ve seen only 2 massage therapist in Frederick but I stopped looking when I found her. My usual is a 90min deep tissue probably every 2 months.

I was a few minutes late which is so unlike me but traffic was horrible and Valerie didn’t make me feel bad about it at all. She still took the time to talk to me about my needs and what I was hoping to get from the massage AND did NOT deduct any time. She was absolutely wonderful. I immediately felt the difference in my neck and shoulders when she was done. She focused on the areas I wanted and did so very very well. Her experience is soooo evident. Nothing felt rushed or like she didn’t know what she was doing. Her actions were calculated and thoughtful. You can just tell the difference. I’ve had soooo many massages in my life and this was the best I’ve had here in the Frederick area by far. I will not be booking anywhere else. I’ve found my person!!! Thank you soooo much Valerie. I first came here with my husband for a couples massage and returned today for a one-on-one 90 minute massage with Valerie. Best decision ever! I was a few minutes late which is so unlike me but traffic was horrible and Valerie didn’t make me feel bad about it at all.
