Being new to the area I was in search of a salon and hair stylist which can often be a daunting experience. However this was not the case at “A Splash of Color” salon. From the moment I entered the salon I was greeted with a smile by Ashley my hair stylist. I had a thorough consultation about my hair color which is what I made the appointment for this visit. Ashley welcomed my questions and conveyed a clear understanding and knowledge of products and their hair color services. She and her mother Heather, as co-owners of the salon, have a great presence in the salon and clearly love what they do. Ashley delivered a great hair color service to me. I am very happy with my results and I will be returning in the future for color and other services. Their prices are reasonable as well! I would highly recommend their salon and services to anyone!

I have gone to Ashley for many years and she is an excellent stylist and colorist just like her mama Heather. My husband goes to Michele and he loves her too. Everyone at the salon is so sweet like family. They carry reasonably priced, high quality hair products for their clients to take home when requested.

Kirstin is amazing! Always so friendly and has done an great job on hair. I had surgery and half my head was shaved she was able to give me a great haircut to make me look normal again and has kept up the great work as it has continued to grow out.

Maureen and all the ladies were wonderful! It is such a relaxing atmosphere. I felt like I could relax and enjoy my salon day, mask and all. These ladies are checking temps at the door, wearing masks and giving disposable masks to those who are getting color as to not mess theirs up! So thoughtful!

I had this salon recommended to me and was excited to try it. I called and one person answered the phone (I believe it was heather). I described the type of appointment and day and time I wanted to schedule… and then I was handed off to another person – with no explanation to me or the next person who came on the phone. …So, right off the bat, that was one of my pet peeves in today’s “lack of” service world, when you explain your circumstance to one person, then they pass you off to a second person and you have to start all over again. Then, the second person told me she wasn’t available on the night I was requesting… but she said they’re might be another stylist who could help me… and she asked me if I wanted that stylist’s phone number. WHAT?? I had called the salon to make an appointment. I hated the fact that they wanted to give me a personal phone number directly to a stylist rather than making the appointment on their business phone.

Ashley and Heather are the best! If you want color done right, they are the best. They kniw what they are doing. They also don’t try to upsell you on hair care products. Good company.
