I have been going to A Second Glance for years. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. I always get a great haircut. More recently I’ve been getting color treatments and Ron does a fantastic job. I get compliments from friends and colleagues who all say the same thing: your hair looks so healthy and your haircut is very flattering. That is my definition of a great hair stylist!

I have been going here for years now at this point and I absolutely love it. I was just there about two weeks ago to get a major haircut and colour and have been meaning to write this review. The girl who did my hair was Kira and she did an absolutely fantastic job. The atmosphere is comforting and everyone is super friendly. I was there for most of the morning, as Ron and Kira tried to get my colour just the way I wanted it. In the end, I didn’t go as light but I’m happy I didn’t. Kira did an amazing job with the colour and a fantastic job with the cut. It can be super edgy, but I can also tone it down to make it sweet and I love the layers in my hair. She did an awesome job realizing exactly what I wanted and making it look good for my skin tone and face structure.

A Second Glance Salon is a wonderful experience. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. They are always prompt with your appointment (as long as you are prompt too). I love the seated massage! It is such a nice bonus that makes your haircut that much more decadent and relaxing. I am always impressed by how well they listen to my specific wants and needs from a haircut. I am always happy with my cut when I am done.

As an aspiring small business owner, I love the “Charge fairly for time, experience, and materials” mentality- I support local and I believe in paying people what they’re worth, not having my stylist try to butter me up for the biggest tip! My experience here was better than the big salons and day spas in my area- and the cost was half. I believe both the business and the client are getting their money’s worth. I will be recommending them to my family and friends; A Second Glance has a happy customer for life.

A+++ I’ve been to a lot of Salons, from Annapolis and the Eastern Shore to Westminster and Downtown Sykesville and the best was right under my nose. Second Glance is amazing. Ron transformed me! Keratin is my new best friend next to Ron.

Totally bizarre experience. Walked in to book and appointment and the place was dead besides one guy at a computer with his back toward me. Hung out for a bit looking at the cards, price sheet, shampoo and whatnot without a single acknowledgement from computer guy or anyone else. Place seemed deserted and just a little creepy. Just left without talking to anyone. Place seemed clean and organized so 3 stars but the lack of someone to say hi/book appointments was totally bizarre
