Sorry I didn’t get your name, sir, but my name is Bryan and I was the really tall dude that needed a beard trim. That being said, you did an awesome job and I will definitely try and get some rest before I come back in 4-6 weeks. I didn’t get enough sleep when I came by and as a result, I was fighting sleep while you were trimming my beard and yet it turned out pretty good. I should mention this to anyone swinging by, he only accepts cash. Luckily the post office is really nice when you need cash back.

This place gives you the old school barber vibes all the way. I’ve gotten my haircut twice (which isn’t much to cut) but today I brought my son. He gave him a nice combover fade, super clean cut, super professional and all around he gave us nothing but hospitality. Drove 30 mins to get to the shop. Open sign on and an hour after advertised open. Nobody there and after calling the number found out oh just kidding, closed on sunday. Nothing wrong with taking days off, but communicate them by updating your hours. Now im screwed for a wedding.

I visited David on several different training trips out to Florida. He’s a nice man, old school in his affect and approach to cutting hair. The quality was fair, but not quite what I wanted most of the time. I went back several times because the price was more than fair, and hardly ever had to wait. I did eventually end just going to a lady on Camp Blanding. Not much better, cost about the same, and didn’t have to travel, but there was almost always a wait.

Called to make an appointment and didnt even get a chance to speak, the person said I’m open until 5, I got to go and hung up. In my opinion that’s not how “A Real Barbershop” operates. Cheer up fella, life should be spent happily.

My 5 year old son decided to try to give himself a haircut. David not only managed to fix up his head of hair, but also made sure my wife was happy by letting me text photos for approval before he was done. Great experience, great man.
