We had a group of 6 for our wedding, all from out of town that wanted to get shaves the day of our wedding and it was a great experience. The staff at A Razored Edge 4 Men accommodated all of our needs and requests, even scheduling us at a very busy time to fit our schedule and adding additional staff to balance out the workload and keep the shop running. They set aside 3 barbers dedicated to our group for shaves and haircuts and made it an awesome experience. Ray and the rest of the staff are not only excellent barbers but all around great people. They made great conversation and made us feel at home for the 2+ hours we were there. Our shaves and haircuts came out great, were incredibly relaxing and will look great for the wedding photos. All of the groomsmen had glowing reviews of their experience so I wanted to share that with everyone. The services are great and top notch, but it’s the fun staff that really put this place levels above the rest. Thank you so much for all your hard work, we had a great time.

I had a bad experience here, but the owner of the shop reached out to me and did everything she could to make it right. I still don’t recommend the Simpson ferry location, but it’s not too much trouble to drive around the corner to the main location in Mechanicsburg. It’s worth it. I’m changing my review from one to three stars. I had a bad experience here, but the owner of the shop reached out to me and did everything she could to make it right. I still don’t recommend the Simpson ferry location, but it’s not too much trouble to drive around the corner to the main location in Mechanicsburg. It’s worth it. It’s a chill vibe, and they do a great job.

Positive: ProfessionalismChris is amazing with my son. I have not been able to go anywhere with my 6 year old, he use to cry uncontrollably when it came to getting a haircut. He has sensory issues and Chris took his time with him and recognized when he needed to pause and reassured him over and over that he was doing a great job. His hair has never looked better. Everyone in there is very personable and a pleasure to be around. Highly highly recommend. Especially, if your child struggles with hair cuts. My son is always excited to go back. Been coming here for about a year now. I’ve had many of the talented barbers give me great cuts but Jimmy is my man! I like a pretty unique cut style and he nails it ever time. I don’t trust anyone else anymore. I love the new shop as well! This is a quality barber with lots to offer. Check it out!

Honestly, if you’re the kind of person to be easily offended and don’t understand the barber shop setting very well, this place isn’t for you. Take you feels to salon. It’s a very laid back chill atmosphere with some of the most friendly staff I’ve met. They remember exactly who you are and what kind of cut you get even after the first time they cut your hair! Very honest people that will help you achieve the perfect look you’re going for. And I mean, these guys are literal perfectionists. I recommend them to anyone looking for some great barbers! I’ve been a loyal customer for over a year now and never had an issue.

I started going to Ray when my previous barber became too expensive and started rushing through my cuts. I will say that Ray has NEVER left my hair anything less than perfect. Also I’ve seen a few of the cuts from Lauren and two of my friends got cuts by her and they looked great. The place is clean and affordable and you get a great cut every time. Highly recommend if your looking for a BARBER cut.

Coming from NYC, I’m used to high end barber shops with excellent service, great conversation, phenomenal hair cuts, and prices to match. A Razored Edge 4 Men delivers all of that except the price. I had Ray as my barber today and he was amazing — easy conversation, on-point hair cutting the way I wanted it, and an all around great experience which ended with a hot-lather shave of the back of the neck (something I haven’t had since I was last in Chicago and frequented an old-style barber shop). Extremely reasonable price for the service and my new barber shop, to be sure. I highly recommend this place if you haven’t found your barber yet!

The barber shop has really gone down hill. I have been going here for months and have become more and more disappointed. I think the customer service has been the most disappointing part. As other reviews have stated, you really do walk in and are greeted with silence. A simple, “How are you? Take a seat and we’ll be with you shortly” would be great. Staying with the customer service, there have been many workers who simply do not talk. They will ask how you want your haircut and you will not hear from them again until it’s time to leave. As far as the haircuts, they have been very inconsistent. I think this is due to what seems to be a constantly changing staff. As I said, I have gone here for months and think that I have been with as many as 8 different barbers. I have received good haircuts from here but I have also received some not-so-good haircuts. It’s difficult to try and explain what kind of haircut I would like to a different barber each time I go. I will be taking my business elsewhere- hope these guys figure it out and learn some BASIC customer service skills.

I have to agree with the other people that complaint about the customer service. You walk through the door silence. No one says hello or will be right with you. Just a really cold atmosphere. I sat there for about 15 minutes no one said a word to me. It was the most awkward barber shop. You need to treat your customers with respect, welcome them to your shop.
