I don’t recommend trying to highlight your hair at home, but if you insist (as I did) you’d better hope Nhina is available to bail you out!! At first she wasn’t sure she should attempt to fix my mess, but she took me on …and I think did a fantastic job!! She is sweet, understanding, personable AND a talented professional. Love my color fix AND cut. She has a rock that says she’s “a beautician not a magician”, but I disagree.

I found this little treasure while eating next door. I was a walk-in and didn’t have to wait long. Ms. Nhina was very sweet and did magic with my very thin hair and gave me a cut that gave me more body and height. She waxed my very bushy eyebrows and I left feeling really good. I have to wear my hair short and don’t always like my hair when i leave a salon. I came out happy and satisfied. She took a lot of time explaining how to give my hair more volume. I wish I could take her back home with me when I leave from my vacation. She is friendly and has a very interesting history. I hope she’s still open when I come back next year! Nhina is amazing!!! I got my hair done elsewhere (color) came to beach for our anniversary weekend and absolutely hated my hair. Cried and had a really hard time with it. I last minute called Nhina with my problem on tears and she accepted me last minute as a walk in appointment and took her time to work with me to figure out how exactly we could fix the issue. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueMy mom and I ran upon this shop on a visit last year and she did an amazing cut on mom’s hair so this year we made a point of a return visit. During mom’s appointment Nhina was kind and took great care of my 89 year old mom’s hair. During this time I felt comfortable to ask her about my hair having dealt with Lupus induced alopecia with spotty regrowth. I have never felt comfortable going to someone for help but Nhina made me feel at ease. She took one look at my bio hair and said she had to help me. She gave me a haircut and style, something I haven’t had in 9 years, I was in tears. My mom and I sat crying as Nhina gave me a gift of love and kindness and encouragement to be proud of myself. I can not express what she did for me that day and as we were checking out she refused to charge me. During mom’s appointment Nhina was kind and took great care of my 89 year old mom’s hair. Previously reviewed 5 stars. Stopped in because I had to get a cut before a holiday party. She seemed rushed because I was probably her last appointment. She left a lot of long hairs around my ears and one side of my head is visibly longer than the other side. I went to the party with that horrible hair cut and didnt see it until the next day. Will not return.
