A Peaceful Oasis is a massage and aromatherapy service that is for women and women ONLY. I desire to be of service to women, primarily those who are caregivers such as stay-at-home moms, grandmas helping with child care, those taking care of the elderly, nurses, teachers, waitresses as well as fellow bodyworkers. However, even though I work only on women, I DO NOT do or offer Prenatal/Pregnancy massage as this is a different modality altogether, not just a variation of a relaxation massage. I also DO NOT offer true therapeutic Deep Tissue.

It was good. I wouldn’t say great. But for the Groupon that I got, the lady was kind and did what she promised. It wasn’t a WOW experience to be honest! But the heat of the stones on my neck felt really good. It was soothing. I asked for a medium touch, but a firmer touch would have been a better experience maybe. Owner is patient and kind.

I just had a massage for relaxation and it was fabulous. If your looking for some self care I highly recommend. Ruth did a great job and asked if I had any areas that needed special attention. She had me fill out a paper beforehand that helped outline what I’d like out of the experience and she followed through! I was also concerned being a bigger/plus size women about being massaged and the table being small. She had a very large table which was extremely comfortable and even put some wedges of foam padding under your feet and knees at certain points. The entire place smelled amazing with different essentials oils, it was calming and relaxing with the music played, and the mix of oils and creams she used on me felt great. It had a nice cooling sensation and the aromatherapy of it all was amazing. My skin feels wonderful after my visit and so smooth from the oils.Additionally, she gave me the option of light or medium pressure. I’m typically sensitive to deep tissue (which she doesn’t do) as it hurts my back so it was nice to have a perfect touch that was medium-firm but not painful. She maintained professionalism the entire time and the synergy stones were an amazing addition. The name certainly lives up to the expectation. This was my first massage and it was absolutely incredible. I felt so comfortable and relaxed the entire experience. If you are in need of a self care day then Ruth is your gal!

I got two massages here as a Mother’s Day gift from my dear husband. This woman uses some of the fanciest oils I think I’ve ever had for a massage! They feel great and smell even better. I will say that she does have a lighter touch, so if you’re looking for a firm massage you’ll have to speak up and request it.
