We are new to the area and was referred to Kristin by a friend. From the moment we walked in the door Kristen was amazing with my 10 year old daughter. Her warm personality put my daughter at ease which in turn put me at ease. She was so gentle with her hair from start to finish. My whole head was in a matted knot. These girls did a great job getting it out. It took them 10 hours with both of them working on it, which left me with 1/3 of my hair. It cost me a pretty penny, but I’m not bald. I truly am appreciative of them. I would most definitely recommend them for anyone that has interracial hair. They know what they’re doing.

I started my sister locs in June 2020. Kristen took over as my stylist in 2021. It has been a very rough road and many times I have wanted to cut my hair. Kristin makes me feel like I am part of her family and when I ask her about my hair, she is always honest about what I need to do. She has never made me feel uncomfortable even when I tried to loc a few by myself and messed them up. She was able to fix them and told me a few stories about other people and their journey. Clean, welcoming environment. Kristin was prompt and affordable. You can tell she’s knowledgeable about Sisterlocks, and she is also on the sisterlock site. She taught me how I can deal with the itchiness I’ve been experiencing. She even washed me before service (which everyone doesn’t do). Not sure if this is included in service, but just ask. She’s personable so you don’t have to feel silly for asking questions.
