So I went to AKA salon in Coopersville about a year ago. I ask for 4 inches off all the way around. The endgame is totally not what I asked for. I mean I’m not complaining now because my hair grew back, but honestly when someone says they want their hair cut a specific length, cut it that way. It’s not your hair to mess with. I go to salons trusting they know what they’re doing and how to cut it the length that I say I want.

Couldn’t get in for a few weeks and website wants you to reserve with a credit card but I have a gift card but doesnt say it will not charge you. Only there limited hours of service. No Saturdays anymore.

She listened to my concerns and requests regarding how I wanted my highlights done, my sensitive skin concerns, and my thick hair!!! Amazing experience! Definitely returning! Love my hair! Service is awesome. I had my hair dyed and trimmed, it looks great. Most salon’s the stylist leaves me sitting there while she gossips with her co-workers, not here, I was engaged the entire time. It was a lovely experience.

Kathy has cut my hair for years, and I am always happy with the job she does. She has also at various times straightened or streaked my hair, and she’s very meticulous. It turns out great! Now, if I only had decent hair to begin with, all would be well . . . sigh.
