John was an important part of my recovery from two different surgeries; a knee replacement and spinal fusion. In both cases surgery corrected the skeletal issues but I was left with soft tissue issues that physical therapy did not completely address. The resulting pain was significant. My family was vacationing in the BV area the summer of 2019. I began to have increasingly intolerable back pain due to a work injury. I was referred to John by another massage therapist in the area who described John as the best massage therapist in Colorado. I QUICKLY BECAME A BELIEVER. Not only did John sacrifice to work me into his schedule, but the pain relief and increased range of motion I experienced after the 90 minute massage was miraculous. This continued for about 6 months! In addition, John utilizes techniques (myofacial release) that released stress/strain and allowed me to inhale deeply and breathe properly for the first time in months. I am a Register Nurse; this was my first experience with therapeutic massage. John was able to explain in detail the anatomy/physiology underlying the process. Not only is John a caring and intuitive human being, he is a superbly gifted practitioner, as well.
