I have been coming to A Handful Salon for my nails for several years, and recently scheduled the opportunity to have a facial with Carol. It was wonderful – what a treat! I enjoyed it so much that I brought my daughter to Carol for a birthday facial; she is still talking about it two weeks later. Cleansing, relaxing, wonderful. If you are looking for a way to pamper yourself and feel as though your skin is a few years younger than it was before you walked in, I highly recommend making an appointment with Carol. I can’t say enough great things about this salon. I came across them in search of somewhere to bring my 96 year old grandmother, now 98, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. Caroline and Kelly have both become like family to us. They have squeezed us in on more than one occasion and are never anything less than professional, accommodating and caring. I’ve been seeing Carol Chabot for my fascials every 5 weeks for about a year now. I have been to all the top salons in the area and none compare even close to the incredible multi-step treatments she provides. I started going for help with an anti-aging regiment but quickly became addicted to the relaxed and pampering treatment she provides. I am now following her recommended on-going skin care program and my skin has literally transformed. I can’t say enough about her and the services she provides. Not only is she professional but she is also a wonderful and kind person. Every person I’ve recommended to her has become just as hooked!

my appointment was for a pedicure with Christine, who was wonderful. I was very pleased with the outcome of my appointment. However, one of the other staff members was so unprofessional, that I will never make another appointment. She was on her cellphone complaining about her Mother, while doing another client’s nails. Once finished with that conversation, she called her boyfriend to complaint about her mother. Apparently, she missed lunch, as she proceed to eat pizza while another client was having a pedicure…. even leaving her 1/2 eaten piece of pizza on the area surrounding the pedicure tub.

Comfortable place. Groupon special. Little crazy. The dog was there so she was late to my appointment and didn’t have the items I had signed up for. Also took about 1.5 hours for a manicure because it kept getting interrupted.
