Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI went for the first time and from the moment I walked in it was a friendly welcoming atmosphere. I felt very comfortable and in good hands with Alex taking my platinum blonde hair( which previously was extremely damaged so I am extremely careful who touched my hair) to a dark red! I had the most amazing experience. The experience was lively and felt like the clients were customers. The end result was amazing and I went home with the product I picked no pressure at all! I also had purchased a Groupon for extension and Alex was beyond honest and professional saying I did nor need them but me being me I want them so he actually told me to go with the package that is less money he also matched my new hair color right there and showed me how well they matched. He explained the process and I booked the date! I can’t wait to go back. I found my new salon! I am a very picky person with salons. The last salon I was going to was over an hour away in CT and I would spend 7 hours there or just became to much and before that one I went to the same person for 6 years following her to 4 different salons leaving only because she Damaged my hair ( snapped off near the scalp!) and the person before that I was with for 15 years and they stopped to change careers… so Alex and AH magic is my new salon! I hate to say it but to be able to get my platinum blonde hair to dark auburn in one shot with out it being orange at all is amazing! I went for the first time and from the moment I walked in it was a friendly welcoming atmosphere. I felt very comfortable and in good hands with Alex taking my platinum blonde hair( which previously was extremely damaged so I am extremely careful who touched my hair) to a dark red! Critical: Quality, ValueI had the worst experience with this place. From the moment I walked into the salon. First the extensions I wanted and needed him to order were suppose to be honey blonde. I get there and they were a completely different color, more of a platinum blonde. His solution was to bleach the hair. I thought it would be a Courtesy on his part since he ordered the wrong hair color. Instead he added it on to my bill at the end. My final result was horrible. The hair was extremely thin even though they kept adding extra hair. I can see the beads and the blonde was a orange type color. I then called to get them removed and I was told its an additional $150 to remove the hair. They should have removed the hair for free for the inconvenience and me being a very unsatisfied customer. I already paid $650 for over colored, thin hair. Alex is always overbooked, when I got to the salon to remove my hair extensions. He started and stopped to wash another client hair, even though I made it clear that I have to be at work & I’m pressed for time. He said just let me wash her hair, she has to go get her baby. I do not recommend this place. It’s extremely unprofessional & inconsiderate the work is not worth the price or the time. Please stay away from this place.! After trying almost every well-respected hair salon from NYC to Westchester I finally hit the jackpot with this salon and stylist Alex. His attention to color, style, cut and hair-care is superlative. Even when I moved almost an hour and a half away from the salon I still make the journey just for this professional stylist.Every single time I walk out of the salon inevitably I am stopped by strangers on the street who compliment my hairstyle. After trying almost every well-respected hair salon from NYC to Westchester I finally hit the jackpot with this salon and stylist Alex. His attention to color, style, cut and hair-care is superlative. Even when I moved almost an hour and a half away from the salon I still make the journey just for this professional stylist.
