Tracie is a wonderful hairdresser. She takes time and talks to you to learn about your preferences, likes and dislikes. She is very knowledgeable about the scalp and hair products. The hair products she developed herself are fantastic and my thin hair looks and feels so much better. She is a delight and makes your experience to her salon a very relaxing one. Yesterday was my first appointment with Tracie and I had no idea what to expect. I am not one to try new places and I was a bit hesitant but needed to have my hair cut and colored so I took the plunge and made an appointment. I am so glad that I did. I love, love, love the color Tracie chose to warm up my hair and to even out the various colors. I was looking for something warm and less harsh and Tracie was able to achieve the look exactly! Also, when it came time to cut my hair, I was asked the things I liked about what I had and what I wanted to change. Tracie spent time with me and listening to my concerns. The shop is warm and inviting, filled with positive displays and wonderful lounge hair dryers! I was offered a beverage and snacks and checked on throughout the processing treatment. I went home last evening feeling like I had been to a spa . . . the treatment was superb, the color and cut exactly what I wanted, and the atmosphere left me feeling revived and regenerated! I would recommend this salon to anyone who desires a new experience in hair care!!!!

I’ve been going to Tracie for a little over a year. She’s wonderful. This time in I colored my hair. I had a picture of what I was thinking about and she asked me all kinds of questions, including my budget. She also let me know about upkeep so I would know how often I may need to come back in. I usually go in to a salon with pictures…. and say, this is what I want. Today I went in and said to Tracie this is the cut I would like, but do any color you want. Personally I do not think that I had a more perfect color in my life. She totally nailed it. After years of boxed hair dye I needed a big change. I went to A Cut Above for a color and my first highlights yesterday. I was a bit nervous, but excited for a change. I told Tracie about my concerns that I seemed to be shedding hair at an unusual rate. She asked me a few questions, and then explained that there was such a thing as seasonal shedding, and also that it could be a result of the amount of stress that I was under. She said she thought it was nothing to worry about, but that we would keep an eye on it. She was very reassuring! And then she gave me her usual great haircut! Tracie is terrific!
