Honestly the best barbershop I’ve been to in the last 10+ years. As someone who cuts their own hair, it was a pleasure being able to find a few barbers in one shop that can cut my hair exactly like how I like. I asked to trim 1/2 inch off the top and for a skin fade. The fade itself was decent, but the guy using the clippers was very rough and used an unnecessary amount of force on my head, to the point where the clippers felt like they were cutting my head. The worst part was the scissor cut up top. Not only did the guy cut off closer to an inch off the top, but he also cut it unevenly, so one side is looks rounded, and the other side is more squared off. It looks like I have bed head now. When he was finished, he only showed me the side profile in the mirror of the good side so I wouldn’t see how uneven my haircut was. Would not recommend this place to anyone and will definitely not be coming back.

My son got his hair cut this evening 4:30-5:00pm I didn’t get the guy name he was African American but he did a terrible job. This was my favorite barbershop I don’t think we’ll be coming back. I am soooooo angry & my son is sooooooo embarrassed & I am soooooo angry.

I came to A Cut Above after finding the owners number on an Autism Guide website. I’ve been searching high and low for a barber that would have the patience to work with my autistic three year old with tons of hair and a fear of anyone touching his head. Long story short this is the best experience we’ve ever had. His first haircut elsewhere ended with cuts on his forehead. It was traumatic for both of us. Our experience here was nothing like that. He dealt with the crying and screaming and got him cut and looking super handsome. It did cost $55.00 though. A little high for a haircut but worth every dollar.

Jacque is by far the best barber in town! Ask for this guy! I take my 2 boys and I to see him for years! Professional! Can handle any hair type, uses the right barbice for his clippers and all, to prevent spreading of any type of bacteria. His cuts are definitely custom to what you want. He has vision and is easy going! 5 stars!

Terrible haircut and overpriced. Barber seemed to have no idea how to use blade lengths or how long they are. He cut my hair way too short. He especially cut the crown too short, it will be a month before my hair will be back to normal. And then to add insult to injury the price was $40. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
