I’ve made appointments, TWICE now I have showed up and they told me they “called” me to reschedule when I’ve had NOTHING on my phone. This is my absolute favorite salon. But it’s looking like it’s time to find a new salon that’s just as good. I hate to do it. But when I make an appointment to get my hair done and need it done BADLY cuz I have parties I’m going to for family/friends. Then it looks like it’s time to start looking elsewhere.

After my shift at McDonalds my hair was very greasy, so I headed uptown to this mysterious place called “A Cut Above”. Weird thing was that it’s on the bottom floor. I walk in very hungry (I haven’t eaten all day) and was welcomed by THE Carli Pinion! I got my original cut, but I just couldn’t resist the grease. I had to eat it, I just had to. I GRAB CLUMPS OF HAIR shoving them in my mouth at speeds you couldn’t imagine. Carli tried to stop me but she couldn’t. It was like I was taken over by some ravenous creature. I snapped out of it, all the hair was gone. Catching my breath I payed for the cut and thanked Carli as I walked out the door for the awesome work she did. Overall I’d give this place a 5/5.

Went for color correction (SUPER brassy hair). Went in, they applied the color and literally matched my natural dirty blonde hair, which is what I was going for. Their safety measures during this time were great and my experience was amazing. My hair is still looking good a month after the color and it blended so well with my natural hair.
