Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI went to BetterYou for a lash fill and it was the most uncomfortable experience I’ve had. The lash tech would grunt and aggressive wipe her tools next to my head on the lash bed when she was frustrated. She was constantly on her phone texting in the middle of my fill, lastly when I was in the MIDDLE of my fill, she told me my lashes were under 40% and that the fill is now a full set, and told me I would be paying 180 instead of 65.I told her I couldn’t afford that and wasn’t expecting the price difference, and she told me to make payments.The prices are always being up charged, and fluctuated, the lash tech gets you to do a fill and then in the middle of what’s suppose to be a fill changes her prices to a full set, and my appointment had already been rescheduled twice prior, and unprofessional made post directed to me on her social media after the visit.I went to BetterYou for a lash fill and it was the most uncomfortable experience I’ve had. Kim is fantastic! As I have aged, I’ve become self-conscious of aging signs—dark spots, wrinkles and sagging. Kim recommended a few options and I was very happy with the results. Under no circumstances would I recommend Better You. I went to get my lashes done and they came off in a couple days. I texted her three days after I had gotten them done and she said she didn’t want to give me a refund. I took great care of them and did absolutely nothing for them to fall off. I had paid so much for them to come off a couple days later. And I will never go there again, lesson learned.

I started going here for the weight loss program the owner Kim provides in October of 2022. I had requested to change medications in January of 2023 because the one I was on wasn’t working for me anymore. She gave me the wrong medication with a label she created with the medication it was supposed to be! I had been taking the wrong meds for 5 days, triple the amount than what ur supposed to take. I had a mild overdose and almost went to the hospital! I called and messaged her that evening. I even called the Arizona Poison hotline because i was so scared. I had to call her the next day around 1pm because she hadn’t responded to me yet. She answered the phone like I was an inconvenience to her. She agreed to meet me that evening to get me the correct medication and she refunded the amount I paid for the last appointment. I had made a doctor’s appointment for a follow up/blood tests with my primary care and I asked her to pay for what my insurance doesn’t cover. She refused because she can’t “afford it”. That’s the most ridiculous thing I have ever herd from someone who owns a business. She took no accountability or had any remorse. Don’t go to this business. Save yourself from this place!
