Critical: QualityA lady named Jennifer dyed my hair. I showed her a picture at my consultation and she told me “those are babylights” and who am I to argue with the professional? I came back for my dye job and 1.) there was some really bad foil slippage, 2.) the transition color she used was warm toned and my hair is cool toned, 3.) it was really chunky, BRASSY, and not even close to what I asked for. To be fair, the power did go out and she was really sweet to talk to, but don’t make the mistake of going here. Other salons are worth the extra charge. A lady named Jennifer dyed my hair. I showed her a picture at my consultation and she told me “those are babylights” and who am I to argue with the professional? I came back for my dye job and 1.) there was some really bad foil slippage, 2.) the transition color she used was warm toned and my hair is cool toned, 3.) it was really chunky, BRASSY, and not even close to what I asked for. Critical: ProfessionalismThis is the 2nd time I have tried to take my Daughter to get a haircut at A Better Place. This time , we walked into the salon at 6:10pm and was told, ” Ummm sorry , were closed ” it’s clearly stated on the website they are open until 7pm. While they had people inside getting services. And the last time we came, we walked in and waited to speak to someone but no one even asked us how they could help, we just got up and walked out after about 10 minutes. I used to LOVE going to this place but it seems like if Teresa isn’t there I never get help. This is the 2nd time I have tried to take my Daughter to get a haircut at A Better Place. This time , we walked into the salon at 6:10pm and was told, ” Ummm sorry , were closed ” it’s clearly stated on the website they are open until 7pm. While they had people inside getting services. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, ValueI walked in and was fit in almost immediately. (I went during a slow period.) A friendly fantastic lady named Chris cut my hair quickly and professionally. I didn’t want anything else done and she didn’t try to talk me into anything I didn’t want!
