I’ve been getting my haircut at A1 since I was a kid. A1 is family, local and military friendly. People from all walks of life in Kailua come to this shop. The price is right here. They do a decent job on style cuts, and excellent for military cuts. Also, they do have a military discount. To ensure you get the cut you want, try to avoid busy days (weekend and mondays). The family that runs A1 is friendly, welcoming and always have a smile. They do their best to make you feel welcome and give you the haircut you want. For my casual every day haircut (medium fade w/comb over) I always go to A1 and that probably wont ever change. Support local businesses!

Awesome experience! Newly arrived to Kailua and got a TERRIBLE haircut at (another Barber in Kailua). Came to A-1 for a fix before a big event and they did not disappoint. Kim did an awesome job correcting the multiple errors … back to new! I’ll be back, glad I found my new barber.
