90’s Nails

Critical: Professionalism, QualityThis was, hands down, the worst manicure experience I’ve ever had. Six months later, I still question if I’ll ever get a manicure again.(1) I left the salon crying, with two openly bleeding cuts and blood on FIVE of my fingers.(2) Weeks later, 7 of the 10 nails had broke or cracked. My research shows this is due to the stress and trauma of the improper filing.Here’s the detailed version:From the very beginning, the manicurist was moving quickly like he was rushed, even though there were more employees than customers.He was so aggressive with the cuticle clippers and file that he cut my finger right away. It was bleeding pretty well, but I didn’t say a word. Accidents happen.When he clipped me a third time, though, I yanked my hand back. He asked if it hurt, and I said yes.He STILL did not slow down or change his technique.Moments after that, I felt a sting AGAIN, and I started crying.A manager came running over and tried to help clean up the blood. Positive: Professionalism, QualityI’ve been coming to 90s nails for 4 years and won’t go anywhere else. I’ve had acrylics, sns, shellac and pedicures. They are incredibly professional and take pride in their work. If there is an issue (rarely),they fix it promptly and leave you feeling like they really care about the work they do.
