Owner Robin Hodges has a BS in Physiology, is a Licensed Massage Therapist and self proclaimed anatomy nerd. I enjoy figuring out how to help people ‘undo’ all the things they do to themselves everyday with the wide variety of modalities I have learned over the years, she says. The name 89 & IVY came from my Grandmother. She was my favorite person in the world. Her name was Iva but everyone called her Ivy. She passed away when she was 89. This is my way to help keep her memory alive and I believe this is the type of spa she would have loved to visit.

I have been living with major knots and tightness in my shoulders and mid to upper back for years. I chose a deep tissue massage with cupping in hopes it would start to loosen up some of those muscles and give me a bit more flexibility in my back. As soon as Robin started cupping I noticed a difference and this morning is the first time in years that I didn’t wake up with a super tight and stiff back. I definitely recommend Robin. You will feel better for it!
