I have very fine hair that has little volume with a few “quirks” and swirls. I have tried many salons in the Prescott area over the years but was always disappointed. Then I found April at Nyla D! She listened to my concerns and the style I thought suited me — and she delivered! I am so happy with my cuts & stylings! The Best! Highly recommend!

I am visiting my sisters in Prescott, AZ from California. I asked my sister to make an appointment at her hair salon, Nyla D’ for my haircut and color. My appointment was with “April” on Friday, May 6th. She chose my color with me after a.very comprehensive consultation with myself and also the owner of the salon, Jenny. April told me she had only been working at Nyle D’ for 2 weeks or so yet made me feel so comfortable and “at home” and did an absolutely fabulous job on my color and my cut.!!! The owner of the salon. Jenny, my sister’s stylist, Kylee and April all looked at me and told me that I looked like a different person . My family all! went crazy over the color and the cut!! I absolutely love Nyle D’. If we don’t relocate to Prescott, I will come from California to get my hair done here. I have never been happier in all my years with any color or cut!!!

I’m reading all these reviews about Kirby and he’s the reason I decided to post a review of my own. I agree with all reviews I’ve read. Kirby really knows how to make my hair look fabulous. I’m old enough to be his grandmother but I LOVE his style. My hair has never looked this great. And he is equally talented with kids young enough to be his, knows how to distinguish what people of all ages want. Great (wry) sense of humor, incredible cutting techniques. I couldn’t be happier. Nyla D’s is a terrific salon as well. No back biting, no drama, everyone seems to all be happy and professional. Wine on Wednesdays, too! What’s not to love??

Recently moved to Prescott and did an extensive search for a stylist. My research paid off. Kirby has cut my hair twice. He is very creative and the new style he gave me is very precise. I let it grow out a few weeks longer than Kirby recommended and the cut was still superb. I like to change my style a few times a year and I know Kirby will suggest some new creations as well. I highly recommend Nyla D and Kirby.

Previous to my experiences with Nyla D and in particular Kirby’s skills as a barber, I wasn’t one to schedule haircuts in advance or put much thought into my haircut experience. However, by chance I received a remarkable haircut from Kirby that made such an impression that it provoked a new approach to my previous haircut routine. Kirby is professional, courteous, and clearly puts a lot of thought, detail, and attention into his work. The finished product is superb. Kirby’s cuts are quick, but without a doubt the greatest I’ve ever gotten. As long as he’s cutting hair in Prescott, I’ll be a customer. Furthermore, I would recommend him to anyone looking for a quality, convenient, and expedient haircut at an unbeatable cost. Thanks, Kirby!

Wonderful experience! Was looking for a salon for extensions and color. Kim, the receptionist was so warm, and friendly over the phone! She listened to my list of needs, and was so very kind.. She set me up with Sonya for my extensions and color. Sonya is excellent and so incredibly talented! She did a fantastic job on my color, and my extensions are beautiful! She nailed it from the get go and did the most amazing job. She knew exactly what I was striving for – and WOW.. The whole salon is warm, beautiful, and very inviting. A really classy upscale salon with a great vibe and warmth. Does not get much better then that. I also had my eyelashes done by Carrie- who was also fantastic and did a beautiful job! What more can I say about Nyla D’ Go there! you will be so happy that you did.

Fantastic experience! All of the employees are professional, yet make you feel invited and welcome. The environment is great, upscale and a great boutique feel. ALL the stylists are knowledgeable and skilled. Jenny cut my hair and it was the best hair cut I have ever received. I recommend this salon to ANYONE!
