The interior is so nice with high ceilings and really good ventilation (very cozy design too) and all of the barbers were wearing their masks. The interior is so nice with high ceilings and really good ventilation (very cozy design too) and all of the barbers were wearing their masks. Went here with my 4yr 9ld for haircuts. When we got there we were greeted warmly and got right in the chairs. The woman that cut my sons hair was very engaged with him and did an amazing job on his hair gave him a pop after he was done. My haircut came out awesome. Very clean lines and faded perfectly. I recommend 100% ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jeff suggested lining up my beard and I agreed as I’ve never spent much time on it other than keeping it under control. He trimmed off a lot and I couldn’t tell what it looked like from the mirror without my glasses. But I trusted him. I have been through good barbers in Portland, Portsmouth, and Derry but I was impressed with his skill. This man knows what he’s doing, trust the master. After getting a good look at home he killed it. I didn’t think about styling things like he did and it changed my look for the better. This man is the real deal. No more trips to the Seacoast. Jeff is my man now.

I have been a customer of Carlene’s Barber shop for many years, Her staff is consistently good, Prices are reasonable ($13) and the location is very convenient, I can usually find parking right out front. I also like the atmosphere of the shop, not to stuffy, good conversation, etc. Both Carlene and the shop have a great personality, that is another great reason to go

Wish I could give negative stars. Terrible experience. “Barber” was completely incompetent. Did not listen to any of the instructions given. All I asked for was a clean up around the ears and neckline. Instead I’m left with what is basically a high fade, and inches taken off the top. So much for the past 8 months of growing my hair out (I have had monthly trims). He cut my ear with his scissors, and was completely reckless with them to the point where I did not feel safe. The back of my neck looks like I have been whipped repeatedly thanks to his clippers. The shop itself was filthy, with not a single sanitizer or cleaning product to be found. His station consisted only of a pile of mismatched tools and cartons of cigarettes. Avoid this place at all costs.
