Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI was very impressed with this salon, from start to finish! This was my first time, so I called ahead to ask questions about walking in vs. scheduling an appointment, the services offered, and the prices. I spoke to Callie, who was very sweet. She explained all my service options, gave clear prices, and patiently repeated information when asked. Callie’s attitude gave me confidence that I would be visiting a professional, friendly establishment.When I arrived for my appointment, the salon confirmed the services I wanted and even offered my sister and I something to drink several times. Like most salons, they had a huge selection of dip powder colors. I’ve been to salons that rush you to choose between hundreds of colors, but this salon didn’t do that. They gave me plenty of time to consider allllllllllllll the possibilities.I was assigned to Eunice and let me tell ya’ll – she did a FABULOUS job! The main color I picked wasn’t in stock yet, which was disappointing because I’d already picked an accent color to match it. I had a hard time choosing new colors, but Eunice never got flustered or upset with my indecision. She listened when I described the look I was going for and gave me great recommendations. She was also incredibly meticulous. For instance, I’ve been to many salons that just slap extensions/tips on the natural nail, with no regard to what the natural nail looks like underneath the extension/tip, but not Eunice! She carefully filed and tapered my natural nails before applying the extensions/tips. She even chose extensions/tips that would help train my natural nails to grow in the square shape I prefer, though they took longer to adhere than the alternatives. She clearly listened when I said I wanted to grow my natural nails long enough to eventually stop getting extensions/tips. She also took her time with the dip powders – she did 3 passes without me asking; made sure to get even coats on each nail (including the edges); and got the dip powder as close to the cuticle as possible. Not to mention, this woman was a BEAST with the file! The way she thinned out the dip, filed, and shaped my nails was nothing short of FLAWLESS!Lastly, I just want to say that the salon in general, and Eunice in particular, were beyond welcoming. Eunice talked to me throughout my appointment. It felt like I was chatting with an old friend, not a stranger providing a service.
